Meet the cow vid
- hey i think we should add this video to the page. — The preceding unsigned comment was added by Awesomesauce
- While that video would fit if this page were about the cow prop, this article is about the cow weapon. Therefore, a "Weapon Demonstration" would be a much better fit. --Stevoisiak 23:41, 31 March 2011 (UTC)

April fools joke?
Or is it? --OddPyro 03:49, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
- Was it really necessary to bring this to the discussion page? Please keep comments like this to the steam powered user forums. 03:53, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
Crafting
I swear, if that blueprint works then I'll go like WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT?!?! The Noble Scout (T/C) 08:06, 1 April 2011 (UTC)

Wiki is serious business for SPUF. Infi^ 07:24, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
Oh, right. Of course...
And I was kinda hoping this thing would be real :/ JakeSanchard 07:47, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
- It is real only the Blueprint is not correct, Steam is workin on it! I saw a guy on a server with it, the Heavy looks awesome with it. godlike11219 07:52, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
- Hahaha... :D-- ( |) 07:57, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
- No, the Cow isn't real. I've had Valve establish this for me just in case you wanted proof. JakeSanchard 12:02, 1 April 2011 (UTC)

Vintage Cow?
I've been seeing people running around with Vintage Cows. How did these people managed to get this?Yet Another Shadow 11:08, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
- I heard a rumor that a randomly-occurring in-game event involving the cow in 2fort will give you a secret achievement that gets you one. Supposedly, you have to stand near it for a certain amount of time as Heavy, then get Mad Milk'd by a Scout right as the cow moos, then punch the Scout to death within 20 seconds. Details are sketchy, this requires further research. Will-T 17:11, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
Will this page remain here after april the 1st?

Viewmodel/Worldmodel?
Do they exist, or is that viewmodel screenshot just a 'shop? Also I can't help but laugh at the guy raging over this "weapon", a few sections up. 404 User Not Found 12:56, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
- Looks like Garry's Mod handposing Balladofwindfishes 13:44, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
All Out
View models, sounds, a strategy page, you put a lot of work into an April fool's joke. Lustacide 18:38, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
Maybe if they put in all that hard work they might put it in the game--Waffleman 22:50, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
- I originally concieved the idea for this halfway through March. I tossed a couple of ideas between RJ and Scatty, ranging from an Angry Birds promo hat to a fake patch. Eventually I settled on the idea of using an item already withi the game as a joke weapon, which then led to the Cow. I pitched the idea on the IRC to mixed receptions, though it was only until Pilk gave support that I decided to do this. I came up with the stats myself (though I had no idea they were balanced!) and constructed the article in my namespace. Getting the pictures was difficult but a little Gmod goes a long way. Everything that happened after I moved the page to the main namespace I had nothing to do with but I completely love. --Focusknock 22:59, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
Thats pretty awesome can I see the fake Angry Birds hats. --Waffleman 00:47, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
- I never got round to modelling them, but it would be something simple like a round Angry Bird covering the entire head, similar to the Horsemann's head.--Focusknock 08:49, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
Moo
And here I was hoping it was real. Looks like I fell for it :V I tried to craft it. You guys put a lot of effort into this - enough that it looked like it was a real weapon. I can totally see Valve putting this in. Now I REALLY want them to put it in. Who doesn't want to go around bashing people to death with a cardboard cutout of a cow? Come on, Valve, make this a weapon. You know you want to. --Trogdorbad 02:20, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
- I can see the Cow having critical hits on any enemy that is covered in Mad Milk. Biz 02:04, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
Stats
Why bleeding + Mad Milk effect for a bit slower movement? Valve would nerf that :P --SandeProElite 09:59, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
Maybe a slower swing rate and lower attack, make it a more effect-focussed item? Dark Pyro 18:32, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
Weapon Demonstration
This would be a great Weapon Demonstration video. Someone should do it.--Magnum Force-Enforcer 18:46, 5 March 2012 (PST)
