Summary
Pueblo architecture is common in the Badlands. See Loose Canon, page 8.
This was the primary construction style of the Navajo and other tribes in the region and it was adopted by early settlers. While Santa Fa and Albuquerque for a time abandoned the style, neopueblo façade architecture is now the zoning standard.
I think Pueblo would make a great theme for a TF2 map.
