The German Gonzila is a community-created cosmetic item for the Medic. It is a team-colored traditional alpine hiking hat, featuring a beige braid wrapped around the rim, with a miniature bugle on the left side.
This item was originally created in the Fancy vs. Nasty Update and since has been officially added to the game.

- The German Gonzila was added to the game.
- The German Gonzila was added to the Mann Co. Store, made craftable and included in random drops.
- The paint texture was improved.
- Updated model with optimizations and new LODs.
Notes
- Using the Peculiarly Drab Tincture paint on this item provides absolutely no visual difference in-game on the RED team. This happens because the exact same color values are used for both the paint and RED Team's default "unpainted" color.
Trivia
- The German Gonzila originally had a gray coloring to it, with a black braid. The coloring was later changed by the creator, due to its similarity with the Modest Pile of Hat. The hat now sports colors that more closely matches the Medic's coat.
