Do you have it? Not everything needs capitals, especially not section titles. Please undo that. As I said, we're matching tf_english, not capitalising everything. -- Smashman... (t • s) 17:37, 3 July 2010 (UTC)

Userboxes
If you would like to make your own userboxes, create a template in your own userspace. For example, for the one you just made, go to User:Nineaxis/Template:User Duck and create the page with the userbox. Then, on your page, use {{User:Nineaxis/Template:User Duck}} where you want it to go. This keeps your userpage uncluttered and lets other users use it too! There is more info here Thanks! --Firestorm 18:15, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

Hungarian User Info Box
Hi! I saw you edited every national user info box, including the Hungarian. I ask, why poor Hungarian box has to be edited so many times? Once it was changed, then I got it alright gain, and now once more? :( Btw green is a quite secondary color in our flag, thats why it was red, I dunno why did you change it. And the new flag picture is so crappy too, sorry :( Although you have a very Hungarian name (Fabry, we've also got a comedian with that name here in Hungary) could you please not edit the info box? :) Thanks :)
ImmortalHUN 23:09, 27 August 2010 (UTC)
- All the nationality user info boxes were standardized, as you can see on the User info boxes page. I'm not going to edit it again, but I would prefer if it matched the newer formatting (feel free to change the colors). You can leave it the way it is though- best if it makes Hungarians happy, not a silly American. -- Nineaxis 00:04, 28 August 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah I saw, but I don't know why don't youguys (admins and so) leave us free to change our info boxes (I made this Hungarian anno) :( Whatever, this is good now. I just say, if I want t make an alternative for the Hun. info box, I don't want it to be edited or deleted (I don't wanna be offensive, don't misunderstand please). :) Anyway, thanks! -- ImmortalHUN 12:12, 28 August 2010 (UTC)

Hi! I'm wondering, why have you deleted these 3 translated pages. I don't understand the reason you wrote there. --ImmortalHUN 19:25, 12 October 2010 (UTC)
What gives exactly?
With all the really terrible things that pass as trivia, and all the ridiculous speculation of references, you've gotta give me that I can at least prove Napper's Respite rhymes with its name's origin. If that doesn't fit in, I really hope it's part of an effort to clean up awful trivia sitewide. --Shoegays 05:59, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
- There is a huge wiki-wide effort to clean up trivia, because, as you said, most is terrible or speculation. We're trying to confirm that Rapper's Delight is, factually, the origin for the name of the Napper's Respite. Until then, it's pretty much filed away as coincidence. -- Nineaxis 13:41, 13 October 2010 (UTC)

Hat Pricing Guide
Why have you deleted my Hat Pricing Guide article? Dude that's very helpful to everybody, many people get fooled by other players in trades, and I intended to keep it updated constantly to add/edit the item's values. That's INFORMATION, that's why this wiki is here, to help and inform, there's no reason to delete that article, you're power abusing... I'm starting to think that we can do nothing on this wiki, everything we do trying to help others is either edited or deleted, no matter how useful it is. Golden trivia
Hey there, I was just making a few cuts to the trivia entry for Golden Charity on the Golden Wrench to make it a little less cluttered, but now I see it's all been deleted (The original too). I'm new here so perhaps I don't know the trivia standards, but I'm pretty sure the charity event warrants a mention somewhere? GeneShark 05:46, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
- It can be, but what we want to avoid is speculation, misleading/false statistics, and documentation of "drama" or otherwise - anything that isn't fact. Which is why the trivia was cut. Feel free to rewrite and add back in whatever you feel should be added, but try to comply with those basic guidelines. -- Nineaxis 05:49, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
- Will do, thanks GeneShark 05:57, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
Jigglebones
They're hardly "standard." Their inclusion has become more common, sure, but not all hats have them. It'd be nice to know which ones do. It's actually one of the more valid trivia points I've seen. -Shine[] 23:15, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
- Nope.avi - we've been deleting jigglebone-remarks from trivia for a while. It's a tiny cosmetic detail, shared across many items. It is not interesting. ~
lhavelund
(talk ▪ contrib) 23:16, 24 October 2010 (UTC)- Okay, fine, it doesn't meat the trivia guidelines, so put it somewhere else. -Shine[] 23:19, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
- Clutter the infobox more? ~
lhavelund
(talk ▪ contrib) 23:20, 24 October 2010 (UTC) - There is no reason to note it. It's uninteresting, commonplace, makes hats behave like you would expect them to... what's the point of noting it? -- Nineaxis 23:24, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
- The point of noting it is because it's a factual piece of information related to the item. We might as well remove the painted colors section because it's "uninteresting." "obvious," and "commonplace." -Shine[] 23:31, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
- Clutter the infobox more? ~
- Okay, fine, it doesn't meat the trivia guidelines, so put it somewhere else. -Shine[] 23:19, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
We're noting it. It's good to know, and it is somewhat trivial, hence the trivia section. Don't remove anymore, and readd those that you've removed. – Smashman (talk) 23:34, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
- The jigglebone is more trivial than the infobox. Just a little note saying that the hat has jigglebones and a link to the article. – Smashman (talk) 23:50, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
Adding to this discussion... who cares if a hat is jiggleboned? I disagree that it's a noteworthy attribute. As per the trivia guidelines: "Trivia items should be interesting and/or helpful. Items that satisfy neither of these are not worth mentioning."; I don't think noting whether or not a hat is jiggleboned is interesting nor helpful, I can't even think of a scenario in which somebody would need to know whether or not a hat is jiggleboned. In regards to what Shine said above, the Painted Variants section may not necessarily be interesting, but it is certainly helpful. -RJ 01:00, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
- I agree with RJackson. If we're going to put "this hat is jiggleboned" in the trivia of every article for a hat with jigglebones, we might as well put "this weapon fires bullets" in the article of every gun that fires bullets. We shouldn't be pointing out nonsense like this, articles should be helpful and informative. Painted variants are very helpful and very informative. Saying a jiggly hat jiggles isn't so much. -- Nineaxis 01:03, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
Can't we just put this to a vote or something? TheMedik 01:04, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
- I'd be inclined to ... vote for this idea. ~
lhavelund
(talk ▪ contrib) 01:06, 25 October 2010 (UTC)- There is already a page that is meant to keep track of what is jiggleboned in the game. If jigglebones already have a page then they are no longer trivia. Also, I don't think that trivia should ever be just a description of the item in question; saying that it is jiggleboned is really just saying what an object looks like while it is moving. It's not trivia. -- -- 01:09, 25 October 2010 (UTC)

- Trivia are snippets of information you otherwise would most likely not know. Saying that the Medic's accent isn't really an accurate German accent follows the same vein as the New York/Boston trivia, but it would be equally lacking: we all know that the voice acting is fake and obviously inaccurate. -- Nineaxis 02:58, 8 November 2010 (UTC)

- Please don't do that. I notice that you have some of the descriptions wrong for the attributes anyway. For example, "referenced item def" is a value that refers to an item ID in the schema. By making a page for these or dumping them on to an existing one you're going to make it more difficult for us to correct them (descriptions and values are subject to change). Manually maintaining the list of attributes isn't a very good idea, especially when it can be automated. -- Lagg 03:53, 10 November 2010 (UTC)
- It's not that I would exactly just use these descriptions. I would actually go a bit more into them, such as what their code is, how they work, etc. Although, I did realize M-NINJA is doing this job, so... AbeX300 19:52, 10 November 2010 (UTC)

About those Arabic redirects you deleted...
Hiya Nineaxis,
Those redirects that you deleted are there for two reasons. The first reason is that the Arabic team has just completed a huge (I mean HUGE) project where we compiled every English article and translated/transliterated them: User:Alsoodani/Sandbox/ar_redirects. No doubt, you didn't know about the project which is probably why you deleted the three 2fort redirects.
The reason for the project is because the RTL Arabic format has issues with the traditional form of inside linking. Traditional form being: آشييفمينتس الديمومان
When inserting any English to an Arabic editor, the RTL and LTR gets garbled causing anything from the beginning sentences to end up on the bottom paragraphs, to having backwards sentences, to even having resizing issues! So the solution to this would be to redirect the actual Arabic transliterations/translations so that instead of typing this: آشييفمينتس الديمومان
we redirect آشييفمينتس الديمومان to -----> Demoman_achievements/ar and we eliminate ALL English formatting issues because now all we have to type is آشييفمينتس الديمومان
.
I've discussed this with WindPower and Windbot will soon be taking the Arabic team's /ar redirect list and redirecting all the Arabic terms to their respective 'Article/ar' so that inside links will have no formatting issues. I am telling you this now so you don't get surprised at the even greater amount of Arabic redirects you will see besides the 2fort redirects.
So if Windbot is going to automatically do the /ar redirects, what's the point of me manually adding the three 2fort links? This would be the second reason: the 2fort redirects were manually created becuase formatting issues from User:Alsoodani/Sandbox/ar_redirects. You don't see 2fort in that list do you?
That's because when I had that 2fort on that list, it would flip the 2 around to the front. WindPower specifically told me that the 'Article/ar' redirects would have to be properly named, as in instead of redirecting الإيكترو سابر to -------> sapper/ar I would redirect it instead to the proper term Electro Sapper/ar with capitalization, etc where needed. That means that I couldn't redirect the Arabic 2fort to Twofort/ar it would have to be redirected instead to 2fort/ar. Because of the beginning 2, the format wouldn't display properly, and I didn't want Windbot to mess that up. So, I manually redirected all three respective 2fort article links.
I request that you return the three deleted Arabic 2fort redirects so that when we inside link 2fort it will be without formatting issues and because WindBot will not be able to properly add it because of the RTL LTR formatting issues.
Edit: I also realize you might've deleted the 2fort redirects because the /ar articles don't exist yet. The majority (97% of articles) of the /ar redirects that WindBot will eventually redirect will also have no corresponding article. They will soon, however. The redirects will be done all at one prior to the article creations for ease purposes, so we don't have to tediously redirect an article every time we create one.
Thanks for reading,

- Ah, thanks for explaining that, and sorry. I was just doing a regular sweep of the broken redirects page, which often contains broken foreign language redirects and didn't think much of it. — Nineaxis (talk | contribs) 21:15, 2 December 2010 (UTC)
- It's cool, I kinda figured you didn't know what was going on with that, so you were owed an explanation. :D - Alsoodani 22:07, 2 December 2010 (UTC)
A/D CTF and Payload Race Contest
Hey there. As the resident map expert can you give us your opinion on the maps entered in this contest. A user has recently starting creating articles for all the maps and we don't know how notable most of them are. Thanks. —Moussekateer·talk 03:09, 27 December 2010 (UTC)
- All the maps with articles so far (with the exception of arctic) are worthy enough of articles. The ones without articles yet I don't see needing one. — Nineaxis (talk | contribs) 03:11, 27 December 2010 (UTC)
Mapper's Medallion article
Heya. There is an ongoing discussion about the Mapper's Medallion article and it's inclusion in the wiki. Some of us are of the opinion that since it hasn't been confirmed by Valve and is not present in the game files, the article shouldn't exist. I was wondering if you could enlighten us to the situation. —Moussekateer·talk 23:18, 9 February 2011 (UTC)

Ban Hammer
Should someone create an article about the weapon used by Gabe Newell, "Ban Hammer"? TF Player 01:31, 18 May 2011 (UTC)
- No, it's not a real item. It's a joke item that only appears on tf2items. —Moussekateer·talk 01:33, 18 May 2011 (UTC)
- I kind of uploaded an image about it, right before I was about to create the article, until I saw it was deleted 3 times already. TF Player 01:37, 18 May 2011 (UTC)
- The Ban Hammer page has been deleted numerous times ,it's not an item so don't make a page about it. THE3STOOGES 01:54, 18 May 2011 (UTC)
