Moustachium weapons will automatically apply a large brown moustache on the class's face while equipped, independent of the player's equipped cosmetics; it appears as a [[Dictator]] with a special custom color, described internally as "Moustachium Gold". However, each weapon bestows Moustachium Fever: once equipped in a loadout slot, the player will automatically switch to the Moustachium weapon, and be unable to change to a different weapon slot unless it also has a Moustachium weapon, captivated by the radiant beauty of Moustachium; this effectively disables the use of all other non-Moustachium weapons.

Moustachium weapons are a special classification of items. Similar to Botkiller weapons, and often mistaken for Australium weapons, they are unique reskins of specific weapons, awarded through the "Fabricate Moustachium weapon" crafting blueprint. The blueprint allows players to select which compatible weapon they would like to fabricate; however, as only six Moustachium Bars can be obtained per account, it is only possible to craft a single weapon. Unique quality versions of applicable Stock weapons are required to craft Moustachium weapons, which can be obtained by modifying an existing Stock weapon with either a Name Tag, Description Tag, or Killstreak Kit.

Moustachium weapons will automatically apply a large brown moustache on the class's face while equipped, independent of the player's equipped cosmetics; it appears as a Dictator with a special custom color, described internally as "Moustachium Gold". However, each weapon bestows Moustachium Fever: once equipped in a loadout slot, the player will automatically switch to the Moustachium weapon, and be unable to change to a different weapon slot unless it also has a Moustachium weapon, captivated by the radiant beauty of Moustachium; this effectively disables the use of all other non-Moustachium weapons.

Bugs

  • The blueprint currently requires 66 Moustachium Bars; as players can only obtain six per account, this renders the blueprint unusable.
  • Moustachium Fever's weapon disabling effect also prevents the Demoman's shields from rendering, while equipped alongside the Moustachium Eyelander.
