VasyaTheWizard | Wikichievement unlocked! Surprised you don't have more than one wikichievement already. Faghetti | Wikichievement unlocked! If we do not count translating /da, then this project was the first 'big' project I partook in on the wiki and I must say that it was an ingenious idea you came up with and the wiki will forever be improved because of it. No more red links and copy pasted cookie-cutter-look-alike-season-56-medal pages. Not to speak of the way cleaner cosmetic NavBar design that followed. You did the wiki a huge favor and I thank you for letting me in on it, as it was a thorn in my side as well. Keep up the great work, buddy! |

Names of mission makers of operation Starched Silliness
I know it's very very late, but can you please ask the members of potato.tf or pineapple.tf (now moonlight.tf) for the name of authors of these missions? Yaroslav tv (talk) 18:22, 2 January 2022 (UTC)
- Starched Silliness was Pineapple, I don't have a contact I can ask for that sort of information within that group, the way I did for Potato's MVM missions; so you'd be able to find out their names as well as I could. -ThatHatGuy (talk) 02:34, 3 January 2022 (UTC)
Hello !
Thank you for correcting my mistake, I genuinely appreciate it. Moreover, I have an additional question- this way I can know, in future and similar occasions, how to properly handle the case.
Why are the medals from the Operation Peculiar Pandemonium removed from the table of Mooonlight MvM, if the operation is hosted by Moonlight, same as Operation Binary Blackout?
Thank you for your time <3 Yossef | Talk | Contributions 07:23, 14 April 2022 (UTC)
- This is a special case. Moonlight MVM announced on their Discord that the Binary Blackout charity drive would continue past when Peculiar Pandemonium concluded. Though they've also announced about an hour ago that the Peculiar Pandemonium drive will also continue until the end of the month, as well. -ThatHatGuy (talk) 01:07, 15 April 2022 (UTC)

- Thanks! I really appreciate it, but I should mention, I'm not the one that does the painted variants for the potato.tf/Moonlight MVM medals. That's H20verdrive. I do the item icons though. -ThatHatGuy (talk) 14:47, 3 August 2022 (UTC)

- I like the pose, it's a good facial expression that meshes with the beard nicely -- don't change that, but I don't really like the Golden Pan like that, it feels unnatural. I'd have preferred something with the Top Shelf Minigun, like how it was in the 100K picture, but if that's unfeasible, I'd rather just have the pose on its own. — 00:10, 21 October 2022 (UTC)
Operation Holographic Harvest page
Hey, noticed you were working on a sandbox page for the new community-created MvM operation. I originally was intending on working on that page as well, but since it's obvious you have been working on it for quite a few weeks now I'm going to leave that page alone until you're ready to create it. It would feel a bit strange to create the page just before you pushed all your changes to the main site. Just as a small note, I have grabbed a couple of the elements you've written up and used them in a sandbox template of my own, hopefully that's okay.
Let me know if you need any help with anything, or if there's something in particular that I should know about site etiquette and etc regarding these types of things - just want to make sure I'm properly familiar with the right way to go about all of this. Thanks for your hard work, much appreciated!
Epsilonal (talk) 15:38, 21 October 2022 (UTC)
- The sandbox page I made is pretty much content complete now, but due to the community notability guidelines, the staff would prefer that I wait until a blog post appears about the tour to push it to the main space. That usually happens around the time the tours launch properly anyway, so I haven't had an issue with it.
- As for wanting to help with it, I appreciate it, but really the only thing left to do is properly credit mission co-authors, and add new missions as they release; which I was planning to do once a creators page went live on the Potato Servers site. Mission articles may also be worked on, but they must all be completed in a user space first, before moving them all to the main space – so we haven't had community missions documented in quite some time, and that's not usually my domain.
- In the future, if you'd like to help create articles for future campaigns, I'd be happy to have you! Please be sure to use the other articles as a guide, and follow their structure. I designed the format for community event / tournament medal pages, with a few collaborators, so I'm usually the main one that has an interest in working on them. It'd be nice to have another helper! — 22:43, 21 October 2022 (UTC)
- Gotcha, I was wondering whether the medals being added to the game was sufficient under the notability guidelines - but a blog post makes sense. I'd also be more than happy to help with the community event / tournament medal pages! I know there is usually a lot of work to be done with the details (maps, missions, wave count, authors, workshop creators, etc..) so I'm sure it'll be a lot easier to split the load. I've been basing most prior contributions of mine on existing pages, so I'll make sure that I take a close look at their formatting and structure in future as well.
- Note that those guidelines are still under review and not official yet, there's just a basic requirement for things to be notable. Medals aren't enough because there are a lot of medals for a lot of tournaments that we don't really consider notable, especially when this event is still in beta.
