*"Bind the 'explode' or 'kill' console command to a key and press it after firing." Nabbed from the Dead Reckoning achievement tips. Not a good tip to include in my opinion since it's encouraging players to be less useful. A better tip would be: "Spend more time near the front lines and engaging lone enemies with the Huntsman at close-medium range."

*Also, I suspect it may be possible to get this achievement in a similar fashion to "Fire and Forget" achievement for the Pyro, because there have been times where Snipers I killed gained the achievement upon me dying from the Tribalman's Shiv bleed effect. --Flying Pyro 20:16, 17 January 2011 (UTC)

:Agreed. When I'm heading through the so-far-unrevised obtainment descriptions, I'll be sure to take anything of the sort. Good thing that's been pointed out; I now have a justification for the removal of those things. -- InShane 06:03, 20 February 2011 (UTC)

My Brilliant Career bug
If if this achievement has stopped counting as for me when I was on 6/10 it may be related to "watching it". Try deselecting it from "Show in HUD" on Achievements screen, worked for me. Already reported.

Robbin' Hood + Skewer taunt-kill
I got the Robbin' Hood achievement and the Shafted achievement at the same time. Is this worth adding to the Robbin' Hood guide or is this too impractical to add? The Seabear 18:21, 19 July 2011 (PDT)

:It's an interesting bit of trivia but not really very helpful here. ==Shooting The Breeze==

The how-to and difficulty is a little misleading. You can get this achievement with the kukri, which makes the achievement much easier to earn if you catch a spy cloaking after backstabbing a teammate and then hiding in a corner, (which is how I earned mine.) Sounds like it could do with a reworking here. --Bluedeanie 16:32, 18 August 2011 (PDT)

*That's enough confirmation for getting the achievement via a melee weapon. I'll go over it shortly. InShane 01:33, 19 August 2011 (PDT)

Just tested this and you can get it from multiple taunts. I just received it from the SMG heal-click taunt, but others work to. Is this worth noting as the advice specifically says Primary weapon?MEDUNN 04:38, 21 August 2011 (PDT)

:I recently changed it from "Sniper Rifle" to "primary weapon." If you've got confirmation that others work, go for it. InShane 10:57, 21 August 2011 (PDT)

::How do I get confirmation? Does it require a video or another user to test it? The latter shouldn't be a problem as I imagine it would work for anyone.MEDUNN 12:37, 21 August 2011 (PDT)

:::Nah, you said you tested it so your word is good enough. InShane 12:39, 21 August 2011 (PDT)

::::Well okay, but I'll just test it again before I add itMEDUNN 02:47, 22 August 2011 (PDT)

:::::Okay done, changing it nowMEDUNN 08:53, 23 August 2011 (PDT)

Medieval mode
Playing in medieval mode should make it easier to earn achievements related to melee and the huntsman. All other classes are restricted to melee weapons. When playing on defense on DeGroot Keep, a sniper has plenty of opportunity to shoot at enemies without getting shot at.

The achievement 'Shafted' (skewer tauntkill) is also very easy to earn in this scenario. The player must stand on the control point and time the attack just right. This is best done on the final point, for both teams. K-Raider NL 08:33, 26 January 2012 (PST)

Jarate Chop bug/misinterpretation
I just got "Jarate Chop", but in a different manner than described.

It was 3v3, me and 2 others against 2 demos and a scout.  I jarated a demo and a scout simultaneously, and killed them both with my bushwhaka.  Later in that same life, people left the server, leaving me and the other demoman.  I jarated and bushwhaka'd him, earning me the achievement.  I wish I'd saved a replay.

Does this need to be tested before being added to the article? Ledzepmtg 02:45, 9 April 2012 (PDT)

:Hm...on release, the achievement required a triple kill off one Jarate. That is kind of ridiculous, so it might have been changed since then. So your scenario is: same life, same round, different Jarate targets? -- InShane 08:35, 9 April 2012 (PDT)

Jarring Transition
I got this achievement as a Pyro on the second stage of Goldrush on defense when the round started when I reflected an enemy Sniper's Jarate. Edited the page to reflect as such, just wanted to clarify that I have experienced this. Possibly a bug, but interesting nonetheless.Xanderkins 22:23, 8 June 2012 (PDT)
