In some cases, bad publicity is good publicity (Those Wiki elves are getting hats!), but this might not be it, especially with the changes of clogging. But sorting criteria for the hats is a bit complicated. Time? Well, you could have created an account in the early days, and have not used it since. Edits? A lot of those could be failure to use the preview button (On a Wiki, it is more important than drugs, power or women. It is the only pussy you maggots will ever get.) Tonnes of text? Could be gone, or no longer relevant what with those frequent nerfs and patches and whatnot.
