− | == HEALTH RESTORATION BUG ==
| + | {{Talk archive |
− | | + | | arc1name = Archive 1 |
− | I was playing at Degroot Keep, and I got lit on fire by an arrow shot by a sniper. I killed him, and my health didn't come back. I wondered if it was a bug, and I killed another guy after the fire went away, and there was no problem with my health coming back. I tested this theory two more times with the help of the same sniper, and we both agreed that this should be put on the wiki page so that valve may fix this. − | :Out of curiosity, does the one-hit kill still apply when the victim is under the effects of the Battalion's Backup and fully overhealed? I ask because there is nothing specifying if the instant kill deals a specific amount of damage and there are cases where other things that were instant kill do not actually kill (Kamikaze + Overheal + Battalion's Backup) or is it handled like the Backstab, dealing a fixed factor of the victim's remaining health? -- Psychopath 06:20, 27 May 2011 (UTC)

− | There seems to be no actual reference to this 'one-hit-kill' for Soldier vs. Soldier/Demoman or Demoman vs. Soldier/Demoman. Should I go ahead and change the wiki page so it includes detail of this? The only information that I can currently glean from this about this aforesaid one-hit-kill is the inference from the weapon description and through the video. − | == The Bug About Remember Last Weapon ==
| |
− | | |
− | In the bug section, It's listed that 'Remember Last Weapon' on spawn is considered a bug.
| |
− | | |
− | Personally, I don't see how this is a bug or glitch in the game, the option does exactly what it is supposed to do and so does the weapon - pull it out right after spawn and lock it until you get a kill. This really isn't a bug, more just a bad mix of your options. Moving it to Trivia or as a Note in the main section would perhaps make more sense.

− | == Haiku ==
| |
− | | |
− | The description of the Half-Zatoichi I don't believe is a haiku even though it seems to be. I'm no poetry expert, but a haiku consist of a 5-7-5 syllable set. "Soldiers and Demos" is five syllables but "Can duel with katanas" is only six because "can" is one "duel" is one "with" is one and "katanas" is three. Six total. "For a one-hit kill" however is five and is alright. So instead of being 5-7-5, it's only 5-6-5, not a true haiku.--Magnum Force-Enforcer 16:37, 28 February 2012 (PST)
| |
− | :Duel can be pronounced as two syllables, but not very commonly. So this haiku makes sense, unlike the Fan-o-War' one.--Piemanmoo 16:39, 28 February 2012 (PST)

− | Do you think we could put this in the notes or is it something that isn't very trivial? Personally I feel as if it is rather interesting.--Magnum Force-Enforcer 17:10, 28 February 2012 (PST)

− | == FLAWLESS CRITS!? ==
| |
− | | |
− | I've encountered several instances when I get flawless crits if I charge and swing at the same time. My charge dosen't count as my player yells, as expected, but I get crits for the length of what the charge would have been. There's no electrical animation but I get 3 or 4 crits in a row. My loadout is Half-Zatoichi, the splendid screen, and the bootlegger. Is this a common bug? Does it come from the sword or the shield? Does it exist for other items? Has it been patched yet?
