− | ==Team Photo Trivia==
| + | :I don't think it's worth noting and it would get incredibly repetitive to put on basically everything. We don't note that any pre-Meet the Spy Sniper appearances are missing the cut on his cheek. The plan is to only note this on cosmetic items which clash with the new pants, but only doing so after the next 2 patches. This is to give time to the creators of the cosmetic items to actually fix it due to the out-of-the-BLU nature of the change. Of course this would be assuming that this patch is a reasonable time away and not this evening.
 s GrampaSwood (talk) (contribs) 14:01, 25 October 2024 (UTC) |

| |
− | | |
− | I personally asked some people who have been to New York and Boston, as well as a couple of Bostonians. Not a single one of them said he was from Boston based on his accent, and all of them said New York.
| |
− | | |
− | Someone pointed out that all the classes accents are faked based on stereotypes. Well, someone got their stereotypes mixed up, and now we have a Bostonian with a New York accent.

− | I think the Bios are non-cannon to be honest. They were written before the game was out (and looked allot more like a comic book) Allot of them do not match up with the character's in game. Z Overlord 07:12, 9 November 2010 (UTC) | |

− | And this is not trivia-worthy? Need I define "trivia"?
| |
− | SalaComMander 08:02, 11 November 2010 (UTC)
| |
− | | |
− | I would agree that the Bios might not be Cannon, but there are several references to him being from Boston, most notable the achievement the year to remember which it the the year that the Boston Red Sox one the world series. Another being his you of the term "frickin" which is used by Bostonian and could be a way of chaining the truly Bostonian term "wicked" to be more understanding to people outside of New England. The finale reference that I can think of off the top of my head would be in his "meet the..." video his accent is nasally which I would say is more Bostonian then a New York accent.Schrodingerscat 03:52, 14 November 2010 (UTC)
| |
− | | |
− | | |
− | Irrelevent, irrelevent, and not entirely true. The references to him being from Boston are not the point. He is from Boston, Valve said so, and what they say goes. The problem here is the fact that his accent is that of a New Yorker, not a Bostonian.

− | My infos about the innate abilities in MvM were removed because deemed as "strategies". The bit was:
| |
− | | |
− | In Mann vs. Machine matches he additionally has a larger money collect range, gains health from said pickups and, upon death, respawns instantly.
| |
− | | |
− | I think they fit the article since they refer to the class' abilities, not unlike the double capture rate. Not how one should use them.Kid Of The Century 01:25, 21 August 2012 (PDT)

− | :I think that this all happens because he has a cup of caffeine everyday. seriously, how is scout the weakest and yet still the fastest at doing everything? Well, i think there was one more thing in MvM for scout, is that when you upgrade his speed, it goes up to like, 170%, and stacked with the baby faces blaster, it's almost like he has a charge'n'targe. − | == The Real Name of the Scout ==
| |
− | | |
− | In the TF2 comic "A Smissmas Story", on page 4, you can see the Soldier yelling "JUDAS!" towards Scout. Could this actually be the Scout's real name? Fawful117 (talk) 07:04, 17 March 2014 (PDT)
| |
− | : We've had many speculations on this, however we're assuming its not as its not really valid proof as of now. It needs to be solid evidence, not speculation. Also to add, If you did a bombing, you wouldn't yell their real name. The scout doesn't name the soldier properly either so its just massive speculation regarding the Scout's name. Better to wait for Valve to announce it properly. Ashes (talk) 07:05, 17 March 2014 (PDT)
