I was thinking, "After buying the gift wrap from the Mann Co store, you can use it with any item from your backpack, including untradeables. This will create a (gift? I have no idea what it looks like). You then select a player to send the gift to. The gifted player can select the gift and click on "use with" to receive his gift. After the gift is opened, the gifted item will have a descriptive 'tag' telling you who sent the gift and when you received it. In addition, any untradeable items will become tradeable when gifted."
