Yes, I see your point, and maybe such a change will clean up some issues, and it would not break me up if others want this change; because, I do run into the problem of what to call the sets of contracts, as an abstract term. Contract folder? Contract set? It's folder name is also Pyroland so why not call it "Pyroland Campaign"? The Pyroland Contracts are ''not'' Campaign, per Valve. Valve's name of the ''event'' is Jungle Inferno Campaign. The event is more than the Contracts, it is the Blood Money and Gift Shop and all of the items that are part of the Campaign, too. Change the name of this campaign to Mercenary Park Campaign
Its folder name is mercenary_park so it makes sense. EdSantos (talk) 03:49, 9 November 2017 (PST)
- Oppose Valve calls it the Jungle Inferno Campaign. The Pyroland Contracts are not Campaign, per Valve. Valve's name of the event is Jungle Inferno Campaign. The event is more than the Contracts, it is the Blood Money and Gift Shop and all of the items that are part of the Campaign, too. But that would mean, Pyroland and Halloween, were also part of the event, after all, they all share the ConTracker.
- My guesses are 1) "Mercenary_Park" is just the working name of the development project and repository and 2) maybe the originally concept was to just have a "Mercenary_Park" Campaign, but the concept was expanded to include the Infernal Pyro and Halloween updates and was appropriately renamed. - To be fair I think I suggested the split of Pyroland Contracts from this page and would have suggested the same if the Scream Fortress 2017 Contracts had started here.
- Maybe at some near future point, split just the contracts from this page to Mercenary Park Contracts to parallel Pyroland Contracts and Scream Fortress 2017 Contracts. Then this page would be expanded into an overview of the Campaign without the mucking huge list of contracts; particularity add at least a mention of the Gift Shop, mention of the unique types of items awarded (not a complete item list) and maybe coincidence and correlation with the Pyroland and Halloween Events). I am not completely sure of this; I will think more about this tonight and may put a split tag on the page. Mikado282 (talk) 11:11, 9 November 2017 (PST)
