UGC Official Page

UGC League are running a Winter 2011 Highlander season, and I think it'd be good for the wiki to get a team or 2 into it. A league admin has said on the forums that there will be both a US and EU division [1], and so the purpose of this page is to see if there is enough interest within the wiki to put together a team for each division.

Each team can have up to 16 players. The Reserve Shooter for the Pyro and Set Bonuses are not allowed. The league will take 18 weeks in total if we progress throughout: The season begins September 12th with 3 weeks of preseason, 12 weeks of regular season, and then we finish with 3 weeks of playoffs. US matches will take place on Mondays at around 9:30 PM ET (This is from the UGC site, see below for our preferred time).

Time

More info on time Matches are free to be scheduled at any time before a match deadline, however we may find we have to compromise based upon other teams wishes - however with seperate US and EU divisions, time variations shouldn't be too disruptive. I will make sure to let folks know personally ahead of time when a match will be happening, at least 24h. Feel free to discuss times in the talk page.

Tturbo	Ajax Ironside		Signing up as a Backup player in case you need someone to play with you, because I love you guys :3 (I'm not sure I'll be available every or most of mondays, that's why I prefer to be backup, and not backup like last time when I was a regular ;D). Main reason for been backup is that I have no idea of my availability until the last minute, but during october I will be accessible for sure. Loadout : Ambassador/Big Kill + Regular Knife + Dead Ringer / Cloak&Dagger (depending on enemy team/map/match). My most played class, good at stabbing (except some special stabs) and sneaking, not so much at shooting and sapping (but I can get the job done) Loadout : Syringe gun + Normal Medigun + Ubersaw. More of the healing than fighting, eventhough I'm quite aggressive to reach everyone. I'm the kind of medic that tries to buff everyone and doesn't stick to one people. Loadout : Rocket Launcher + Shotgun + Equalizer. Really aggressive / almost suicidal soldier, I tend to make as much kills as possible going to the front and doing as much damage as possible with the RL. Loadout : Degreaser + Flare gun/Shotgun + Axtinguisher. Well I'm more of a combat/spychecking than babysitting pyro, reflecting and burning peoples.
M-NINJA	invisibleStuff		I can play any class. Was on the team last year, but only for the pre-season due to technical difficulties. Hopefully the issues that I had last year wont happen again. :) Times: On Mondays(when the default days matches take place)/Wednesdays/Fridays I don't usually get home til around 9:00-9:30 EST due to previous obligations, so if I am a little late that is why. Tuesdays I just plain cannot do. Thursdays I am completely free around game time. Classes: Usually I play using one of two styles: Cap or Lure. Cap as it implies I mostly focus on the objective, play to win son. Lure is more team-work based whereas I bring enemies into sticky-traps/sentries or taking enemies away from their goal e.g. capping or repairing sentries. Weapons: Scattergun - Pistol - Sandman My main focus is juggling enemies and building rage. I can and will play stay back and defend if needed. Weapons: Rocket Launcher - Buff Banner - Equilizer/Pain Train Combat: I ignite and follow up with the shotgun. Good at reflects Team-work: Because most of the pyro's weapons are close range, so I use the homewrecker to help defend against spies. Weapons: Flamethrower - Shotgun - Homewrecker Again, I focus on juggling. Skilled stickyspam everywhere. Weapons: Stickybomb Launcher - Booties - Ullapool/Paintrain I focus on the "priority" target, being a sentry or another heavy. At the same time I do this with "tunnel-vision" so I don't get tripped up by spies. Weapons: Iron Kurtain/Tomislav - Shotgun/Steak - Eviction Notice/KGB Offensineer. Mostly based off Wind's guide but I use the pistol to support sentry fire, then follow up with revenge-crits. Weapons: Frontier Justice - Lugermorph - Gunsliger I heal everyone who needs/wants it. I use the medigun you want me to use. Weapons: Crossbow - You Tell Me - Ubersaw Boom. Headshot. Standard Sniper rifle, dont stand in one place. Weapons: Sniper rifle - Danger Shield - Kukri I will murder their toys. Weapons: Dimondback - Knife - Enthusiast's Timepiece Am I taking this too seriously, I think not. :)

Fyahweather	Otto von Bismor	NEVAH	I'm available whenever I'm not too busy-warn me in advance of games so I can plan. Try to intrude less on weekdays. And apparently no sets. Gone are my Tank Buster and Expert's Ordnance. Seriously! Classes: A pretty standard competent set. My Black Box lets me get health easily with or without Medics, and the Shotgun helps if I need to quickly reload. I switch between my Equalizer and Disciplinary Action, depending on if I feel like helping the team or doing a heck lot of damage. Weapons: Black Box Shotgun Equalizer/Disciplinary Action I'm generally a lone wolf when I play Pyro. I go away from the crowds, reappear behind the enemy, and kill them with my Backburner. Health Kits are especially useful to me because of my rake, but if there is a competent Medic I'll use my Powerjack to gain some health. I can also be a team player using my Degreaser, Flare Gun, and Homewrecker/Axtinguisher. I generally don't like Puff n' Sting, but I can use it with a certain degree of skill. My Homewrecker can be used if Spies are a problem, and I've developed a good aim with my Flare Gun (I prefer crits compared to the measly Mini-Crits of the Detonator) Weapons: Backburner Shotgun Back Scratcher/Powerjack OR Degreaser Flare Gun Homewrecker/Axtinguisher I use a typically grenade set, because I can't play Stickies well. I've developed a pretty good aim at the Grenade Launcher, and I often kill with my Caber and escape with my Targe. For a truly offensive Demoknight set, I use the Loch-n-Load, Splendid Screen, and Persuader. High damage with my Loch-n-Load, then a quick kill and free health with my Persuader. The Splendid Shield's minicrits help too. Weapons: Grenade Launcher Chargin' Targe Ullapool Caber OR Loch-n-Load Splendid Screen Persian Persuader I'm more capable in Offensineer than defense. When it comes to finding Spies, I am merciless. My Frontier Justice allows me to finish off those half-dead victims of my late sentry, while the Lugermorph allows me to compensate for the Frontier Justice's short clip. If I'm going to be encamped in one area for a long time, I'll use the Southern Hospitality, but if I must move quickly the Jag is brilliant. My offense set plays like this: Build Mini-Sentry, wrangle it and get a few kills, have it destroyed by rockets or something, avenge it with my Frontier Justice, repeat. Weapons: Frontier Justice Lugermorph Southern Hospitality/Jag OR Frontier Justice Wrangler Gunslinger
Keisari	Keisari		Can play decent with every class there is. Im best with Demoman, Soldier, Heavy and Engineer. Lots of gaming hours behind me, usually top player in public servers. only one played 6vs6 match though. Available any time of day, every day. I try to run around them and flank. Not good with 1 on 1 dodgin but provide good support for rest of the team. Default(or Black box) + Shotgun), I aim for enemy feet. This is one of my better classes. Cannot do any trickjumps but got the basics of the rocketjumping. Degreaser + Flaregun + Maul. Fire, critshot and reflect is my way to play. Stickyspam on every wall and ground. One of my better classes too. If getting close, i change for grenadelauncher. If they get point blank, ullapool will get those bloody bastards. Kill the guy in front of us with Iron curtain and hop around the corners. Medic please. You get my sandvich. Defensineer turtling or Offensineer are both well trained. Maybe my personal favourite of classes. I dont use wrangler. Overdose, medigun and ubersaw. Stay back and heal. Boom. Your pissed. Sydney sleeper is my sniper style. Class i dont really like but can play. Stab the medic and die.
Wind	Wind		Signing up as a backup player in case you need an Engineer, because I love you guys like Tturbo does :3 I have all fridays off, if that helps. Rest of the week is hazardous.
