| « | Фанаты игры долгое время писали нам письма, требуя конкурс, который бы не требовал особых навыков в моделировании или дизайне уровней. И вот, их желание исполняется. Верно: вам придётся сразиться в конкурсе, в котором необходимо лучше остальных описать ту или иную шляпу. Представляем вам первый конкурс по описанию шляп TF2.

Конкурс описания шляп — это конкурс, о начале которого было объявлено 24 августа 2010 года.
После критики предыдущего конкурса, участие в котором требовало знание компьютерного моделирования, в официальном блоге игры было сделано объявление (английский) о новом конкурсе. Однако всем, кто хотел принять участие, пришлось зарегистрироваться здесь. Команда TF2 сделала этот конкурс более открытым для других игроков, где любой смог бы принять участие. В этом конкурсе участвующим нужно было придумывать описания для имевшихся на данный момент аксессуаров в игре.
Победившие записи были добавлены разработчиками в соответствующий пункт в игре в качестве официального описания.
Сроки проведения
Игрокам было необходимо представить свои работы до 27 августа 2010, после чего конкурс был закрыт. Материалы были размещены в надлежащие им темы на форуме пользователей Steam.
Правила
- Дать краткое, интересное описание, состоящее не более чем из 75 символов.
- Вы должны были быть единственным автором этого описания, и оно должно было быть полностью придумано вами.
- Победившее описание будет использовано для соответствующих предметов в TF2.
