Bumper Cars are an in-game feature introduced as part of Scream Fortress VI used as a part of the mini-games on Carnival of Carnage. They are small team-colored vehicles with antennas on the back, controlled from a third-person perspective.
All classes while driving bumper cars share the same movement speed, do not take fall damage, cannot use weapons, and cannot strafe. A bumper car is only able to move forwards or backwards, jump into the air, and turn to each side. Pressing the alt-fire key (default key: MOUSE2) causes the player to boost forward rapidly, unable to slow down until the boost has ended, or until colliding with a wall or enemy team player, upon which the player is launched backwards.
A different damage system is used for bumper cars, using a percentage-based system instead of a health-based system. When driving into another player, the damage percentage increases, and with it the amount of knockback a player takes from enemy bumper cars. Players are only able to kill each other by being knocked into an environmental hazard, with pitfall deaths using its own unique kill icon. Deceased players automatically become ghosts upon death, but may revive themselves by making contact with any living teammates.

Magic Spells
Available to players in bumper cars are four magic spells with unique functionalities. With the exception of Overheal, none of these spells can be obtained or used outside of a bumper car. Multiple spells can be active at the same time (such as a Bomb Head spell with a B.A.S.E. Jump spell), though this is difficult to perform.
- B.A.S.E. Jump: Launches the spell user into the air, then activates a parachute like the one found in the B.A.S.E. Jumper, allowing the spell user to slowly descend to the ground. The spell can be cancelled mid-descent by pressing the jump button. If used near an enemy player, it also launches them a short distance.

- Boxing Rocket: Fires a large boxing glove a medium-range distance in the direction the spell user's bumper car is facing. Upon contact with an enemy, it applies a large amount of knockback and 50% kart damage.[1]
- Bomb Head: Places a bomb on the spell user's head, which deals 50% kart damage to the spell user and any nearby enemy players when exploding. It also explodes when colliding with an enemy player, or automatically after 10 seconds.[2]
- Overheal: Gives the spell user temporary invulnerability and removes 50% kart damage (e.g. reducing 200% kart damage to 150%).
