I think that this page should exist. A page which tells the reader the definition of a Subclass, quickly describes every major subclass and their variations and how their playstyle differs from the original class (Plus provides some images) is a useful page in my mind. :This is not really worth a page, at most a disambiguation but even then there is a lot of debate about what is a subclass in the TF2 community. I've turned it into a redirect redirecting to the glossary which gives 3 examples already. If there is a specific page regarding subclasses it'll likely also attract a lot of people that put their self-defined subclass on there, which they deem important. Overall it's not necessary, as the glossary already serves the purposes you mentioned + causes less trouble.
GrampaSwood (talk) 11:58, 24 April 2021 (UTC) | :This is not really worth a page, at most a disambiguation but even then there is a lot of debate about what is a subclass in the TF2 community. About this page
I think this page should not exist.
The "subclass" term was created by the community and it should be more like part of the community class strategy instead of having its own page.
Also, Valve has created the weapons for that the players could use it. So, there is no a "way" to play a class. This page should not exist in my opinion.

Edit: There is no a "correct way" to play a class.
Also this page is very deprecated and doesnt follow the guidelines of the wiki Ashe (talk) 04:12, 30 November 2020 (UTC)
The existence of this page is valid

- This is not really worth a page, at most a disambiguation but even then there is a lot of debate about what is a subclass in the TF2 community.

- Because there are more fads, are easier to notice that they're commonly used, and have a lot more info and history behind them than subclasses. Subclasses are simply "These are commonly used loadouts for this subclass, it changes the playstyle in this way" and that's it, they should be put on community strategy pages (As brought up on the Discussion page as well). I don't entirely agree with the community fads page either, I personally think it's a similar situation as what would happen with this subclass page (and what has happened, I remember that the Observer section seemed to be edited by someone who was upset that people started copying the Observer trend, as well as someone adding their own Discord group known as the "Bison Boys" to the page, which is undoubtedly gonna happen here as well).
