The Strange Count Transfer Tool is a tool item. It is represented by two meters from Strange items (not visible in gameplay) connected by a wire with a few random loose parts.
The Strange Count Transfer Tool allows players to transfer stat counts between two Strange-quality items of the same base type. For example, a Rocket Launcher can trade its kills to another stock variant, as well as Botkiller, Australium, Festive, and other variants, but cannot be transferred to other rocket launcher weapons. It can also be used to transfer Strange counts between Strange Parts, provided that both weapons involved in the process have the same part attached to them for which the count is to be transferred.
No matter the Strange Part used or items involved, the source item's count is always reset to zero, and is non-reversible.
