Reskins are weapons that are functionally and statistically identical to pre-existing weapons, but differ in their visual appearance. This category excludes weapons of decorated quality.
Reskinned weapons include Festive, Botkiller and Australium variations as well as promotional items. Reskins such as the Golden Wrench, Golden Frying Pan and Saxxy have an added cosmetic effect of turning enemies into gold statues upon a successful kill.
Some reskins may have minor additional changes, such as unique taunts or on-kill effects.
