TF2Tightrope is a collection of three server mods and additions that vary greatly between each-other. They are referred to as "projects", and there are exactly three: Beta, Ghost and Trade.

Project Beta

Project Beta is TF2Tightrope's main venture and is the only active project out of a total of three. It aims to be a community-run version of the official beta by testing out new weapons, maps, game modes and balance changes. By equipping any of the weapons shown below, the new functionality will automatically be in effect. The same model is used for seamless integration and to eliminate custom file downloading. Project Beta does not apply new functionalities to skinned weapons.

	The Underburner	Reflected projectiles sets opponents on fire  +35 building damage dealt by reflected projectiles  +20 health restored when extinguishing a teammate  +100% increased horizontal push back force  +25% increased vertical push back force  -75% airblast cost  -50% max primary ammo  Reflected projectiles gain a small fire particle effect

Heavy	The Heavy Lifter	While deployed: lifts user upwards  While deployed: sustains a ring of flames  On wearer: deals fatal damage to the player you land on  -90% spin up time  User is marked for death while spun up, and for 3 second after  3 ammo consumed per second while spun up  Deals no bullet damage  -75% ammo
Engineer	The Overclocker	+50% faster sentry gun fire rate  +900% dispenser radius  +35% move speed to teleported players for 10 seconds  +50% attack speed  +7% move speed on wearer  +50% building damage vulnerability  -50% damage vs players  -50% damage vs buildings  -50% damage vs sappers  -25 max health on wearer  Overclocked buildings can be identified by a particle effect

Project Ghost

Project Ghost (also known as "Equally Randomised") is a game mode by TF2Tightrope very unlike Project Beta. It is an Arena mod in which every player is given the same stock or custom weapons (with stock models), and the time limit is stricter, often being two minutes in which the last minute is "Sudden Death" (not to be confused with Team Fortress 2's Sudden Death) where all players begin to lose health. Each class and weapon combination (referred to as a "mod") is thematic, and these combinations are determined by the server running the game mode. Some mods bear more resemblance to Class Warfare, as in each team is treated separately. ^{[citation needed]}

Project Trade
