Would you consider Smissmas 2020, 2021, and 2022 to be major updates? I'd argue that if we consider Scream Fortress to continually be a major update, Smissmas updates since 2020 should also count, since they also contain maps, taunts, and cosmetics, and sometimes War Paints -- the only consistent difference between Scream Fortress and recent Smissmas updates is the lack of contracts. — 02:36, 26 February 2023 (UTC)

:Con I would not consider them as major updates, simply because Valve don't consider them as one. As an official Wiki, I believe that we should be consistent on what Valve considers a major update and what not. In TF's official page, they haven't considered Smissmas a major update since 2016.

Why do we have this

We have a nav template, this seems useless. Darkid 19:15, 25 June 2012 (PDT)

The point of a category is so that related things, whether they are classes, hats, maps, or weapons, are kept together in an easy-to-see way, even if they are not directly related to each other. This has all of the major updates that, while they are related via TF2 (and the many items/maps/etc) that they brought with them, they have little to do with one another. However, as they are all major updates, they are grouped together for neatness and unity. Additionally, this page also has the various translations of those update pages, which the nav does not reflect. ~Sven~ 19:22, 25 June 2012 (PDT)

Halloween Updates Category?

Should we have a sub-category for Halloween updates? ...I dunno why, it just feels right. Kestrelguy (talk) 16:35, 25 January 2021 (UTC)

Recent Smissmas Updates Classified as Major?
