Unusual Haunted Metal Scrap |

The Haunted Metal Scrap is a craft item obtainable in-game (but only with the Unusual rarity) as part of the Scream Fortress Update during the Halloween 2010 event. To obtain this item, the player has to land one of the killing blows on the Horseless Headless Horsemann with a melee weapon and remain alive during the boss' death. Only a single Unusual Haunted Metal Scrap is obtainable per individual account due to it being linked to the achievement Gored!. The Haunted Metal Scrap can be used to craft the Horseless Headless Horsemann's Headtaker or one of the three styles of the Spine-Chilling Skull 2011, added during the Very Scary Halloween Special update. It was previously able to craft the Voodoo Juju or Spine-Chilling Skull, but they were removed from the recipe in a later update. The metal can still be obtained through spawning the Horseless Headless Horsemann and getting the achievement, and the crafting blueprints in which it is used remains active(on custom maps that always spawn the HHH, it is possible to get this year round).

Bugs
- Some Haunted Metal Scrap items have become tradable due to a glitch involving Gift Wrap. Those wrapped before the patch became tradable and produced either a tradable Voodoo Juju, Spine-Chilling Skull, or Horseless Headless Horsemann's Headtaker.
- Some of those Haunted Metal Scraps still exists making one of the three Spine-Chilling Skulls 2011 be tradable too.
