Tightrope logo

TF2Tightrope is a collection of server mods. They aim to be a community-run version of the official beta by testing out new weapons, maps, game modes and balance changes.

Project Beta

About

Project Beta is about testing new weapons, while tweaking old ones. Changes are heavily based on community feedback.

Currently changed weapons

Other changes

  • Players can change their field of vision beyond the normal limits when on tightrope servers by altering the custom_fov variable in the console.

Bugs

  • Players can enter the civilian pose by unequipping all their weapons with the unequip menu.

Project Ghost

About

Played on certain arena maps, each round the entire player roster is forced into a specific class, with specific weapons. At the start of each round, a dice (in simple terms) is rolled to determine what class and weapons will be used for the round. Chance of a particular round, is based on when it was last played.
