Completing a Two Cities Tour automatically grants you a Killstreak Kit, which you can apply to any weapon to transform it into a Killstreak weapon. Completing the Tour also grants you a fabricator and spare parts that you can use to craft progressively rarer Killstreak Kits, which will add cool visual effects to your weapon and eventually even your character.
— Two Cities Update

Killstreak Kits are tool items that can be applied to a specific weapon, upgrading it into a Killstreak weapon.

When a Killstreak weapon is equipped, a kill counter appears in the player's HUD, tracking the number of kills made with that weapon and resetting upon death. Higher tiers of Killstreak weapon also add cosmetic effects: while standard Killstreak weapons only have the kill counter, Specialized Killstreak weapons also add a colored sheen, and Professional Killstreak weapons add a colored particle effect to the user's eyes.

Standard Killstreak Kit

Standard Killstreak Kit

Standard Killstreak Kits are the most common variety, and simply add a HUD kill counter. Players are rewarded with a random standard Kit after every completed tour of Two Cities.

Specialized Killstreak Kit

Specialized Killstreak Kit

The next tier of Killstreak Kit. In addition to a kill counter, a Specialized Kit also applies a colored sheen to the weapon. As a player's streak increases, the sheen becomes more intense. Specialized Kits are obtained by completing Specialized Killstreak Kit Fabricators, which are found as a random reward from completing Two Cities missions.

Below are the currently known colors:

  • Team Shine
  • Hot Rod
  • Manndarin
  • Deadly Daffodil
  • Mean Green
  • Agonizing Emerald
  • Villainous Violet

Professional Killstreak Kit

Professional Killstreak Kit

The final tier of Killstreak Kit, Professional Kits are the rarest variation. In addition to a kill counter and a colored sheen, Professional Kits also add a particle effect to the player's eyes while the weapon is active. Professional Kits are obtained by completing Professional Killstreak Kit Fabricators, which are found as a rare random reward from completing Two Cities missions.

While the weapon is equipped and the player has a streak of at least five, the eye effect will become visible. This effect, similar to that of the Eyelander, will match the color of the weapon's sheen. The effect will become more intense when the streak passes 10 kills.

Below are the currently known effects:

  • Cerebral Discharge
  • Fire Horns
  • Flames
  • Hypno-Beam
  • Incinerator
  • Singularity
  • Tornado
