Steam Profile

ID is EEKthecat.

Name is, and always has and will be, EEK.

Icon is of Sharky the Shark Dog from EEK the cat TV show.

Love Zombie Fortress and Surf maps. Rarely play regular maps. Favourite classes are sniper and spy, with over 150 hours logged on sniper only servers :D

Speaking of [Zombie Fortress] You should look at the perks page; I made it myself, took around 30 minutes to get in all the data. You should read all the info, it's a halariously fun game mode

NOTE TO ANYONE INTERESTED IN A SPECIAL VARIATION OF A BREAKFLOOR MAP Breakfloor is a map that is arena and when you spawn there are blocks everywhere around you with a dividing line in the middle. I used to play a special variation with smaller blocks and they broke in one shot with scatter, 2 bat hits or pistol shots, and it was scout only. I loved that server. Milkman, DarkZero, JoHnN, if any of you see this page, contact me! I am setting up this server again! We need to revive it! And I want my old nickname. I still live up to it. This streetsweeper will take down groups of 6 scouts any day of the week. After that summer, scout became my number 1 class. Scatter, Bat, and Pistol. That's how I roll. Anyone willing to contribute to the revival of the server let me know.

Common Loadout

This grid thing is copied from Shine. I'll fix later when I can actually UNDERSTAND wtf is going on on a wiki and what all this editing means x.x

Class Weapon Reasoning
Class scoutred.png Item icon Scattergun.png Scattergun is realiable, and fairly accurate. I hate the FaN and Shortstop lack of precision and bullets, and my custom remington 700 skin for my Scattergun makes it seem more accurate to me. I don't know why, but it just is.
Item icon Pistol.png A great sidearm, with mid to long range fair accuracy and an uncanny ability to, for me, always crit at the right time. The Mad Milk might be good for some, but this removes the capability for the scout to kill a bit further away. And all the colas the scout gets just aren't my style.
Item icon Bat.png The good ol' reliable bat. Crits a fair amount, does decent damage, no debuffs, and glitchy as hell. Sometimes, the glitches work in a bad way, and though it sounds or looks like you're hitting them, you aren't. Anyway, I take this because the Sandman just doesn't do the job. I am an average stun shot, the removal of the actual stun awhile ago made it horrible for me, and the health debuff just does not even go when you barely have any health to begin with.
Class soldierred.png Item icon Rocket Launcher.png I am not a fan of the direct hit. I can sure as hell snipe a shot with it but I often play [Zombie Fortress]game mode and large groups are really common, and when a crocket slams into a group of 11 or more its always satisfying.
Item icon Gunboats.png
  • Shotgun works too, but I often take these for Zombie Fortress when I'm jumping around with Angelic (see [ZF perks page]) and gunboat reduced self damage is always a relief when I don't die from rocket jumping, which I almost always end up doing.
  • Buff banner is not too useful. I don't like mini crits with anything at all, and the buff banner's rage meter is annoying. Not only that but I think the soldier needs either an escape to ammo route with minimal self damage, or a weapon other than a rocket launcher and an equalizer.
Item icon Equalizer.png
  • I fail to see anything wrong with it. Why take a shovel? This will give you increased speed and damage at lower health, enabling you to run to health and then continue the chain. Again, Zombie Fortress is right now the only thing I play and honestly the medics are prime targets, so you better have a way to run.
  • I am not too much of a fan of this thing. It's okay, sure, but I really don't like its inability to be useful. I often have gunboats, so a useless melee weapon AND a rocket launcher with no secondary just doesn't work out, as well as Zombie Fortress maps rarely have control points. When they do, I am not really a soldier, ergo no need for a pain train.
Class pyrored.png Item icon Flame Thrower.png
  • I could never get into using the back burner. I really hated it back when it was a piece of shit, we all know when that was, and I would never be behind people, and loved my compression blast. Now that it is slightly better, I still have old hatred for it.
  • Degreaser is nice, and useful in Zombie Fortress when used with the axetinguisher, but I have to have flame damage, and I am such a crafter/trader that I never have a degreaser on hand, and as a result never have a need for it.
Item icon Shotgun.png I don't know if you're tired of hearing me talk about Zombie Fortress but I guess this is a good show of a loadout. Anyway... The trick for pyros is to have the most ammo possible, as in Zombie Fortress they have a constant degeneration of flame ammo down to 120. The flaregun is nice but when you're the last survivor running from a horde of 14+ zombies, the flaregun just won't cut it.
Item icon Axtinguisher.png
  • If you are a fan of the Homewrecker then I challenge you to prove to me why it's good. Its a piece of crap, and nobody knows how to use it, I see. And either way, with the absence of sappers in Zombie Fortress the engineer can guard his own stuff.
  • The fire axe might be nice but if you have a close quarter flame thrower why not have a close quarter burning man killer?
Class demored.png Item icon Grenade Launcher.png What else are you supposed to take?
Item icon Chargin' Targe.png The Targe might not seem great considering all my other philosophical Zombie Fortress choices but I'll be damned if running in like a bloodthirsty crazy to a huge group of zombies with a sword/axe isn't the funnest thing ever. Also good for a quick getaway!
Item icon Horseless Headless Horsemann's Headtaker.png Had to remove my Eyelander for this. Not too worried, it looks cooler to me and is the same as the Eyelander so my concern level is minimal.
