Article 1 (Purpose)
The purpose of this Regulation is to provide for matters necessary for the award of the title of an Honorary translator of the Korean translation team
to an non-Korean translator who renders distinguished service to korean pages of Team Fortress Wiki,
thereby contributing to exchanges and cooperation in the Wiki and the promotion of friendship of the Korean Translation Team.
Article 2 (Prospective Awardees)
(1) Prospective Awardees of the title of Honorary translator of the Korean translation team
(hereinafter referred to as "Honorary translator") shall be as follows:
1. A non-Korean translator who have edit counts over 90 times 2. A non-Korean translator who created korean pages over 3 times
(2) Where the Korean translation team (hereinafter referred to as the "Team") deems it particularly necessary, notwithstanding paragraph (1),
he/she may award an honorary translator by applying requirements of paragraph (1) leniently.
Article 3 (Determination of Prospective Awardees)
Translator of the Team Fortress Wiki Korean Translation Team (hereinafter referred to as "Translator") may recommend a nominee for an Honorary translator.
Article 4 (Determination of Nominees)
(1) The Team shall determine a prospective awardee of a honorary translator recommended under the provisions of Article 3
following the deliberation of the Honorary Translator Award Committee (hereinafter referred to as "Committee")
under the provisions of Article 8: Provided, That this may be omitted in cases under Article 2 (2).
(2) When the Team intends to appoint Nominees to an Honorary translator to a person determined as a nominee pursuant to paragraph (1),
he/she shall obtain the consent of the Committee:
Provided, That when the Committee is out of session or the Team has no time to obtain the consent of the Committee due to urgency,
he/she may confer an honorary translator in consultation with active Translators.
Article 5 (Method of Award and Additional Prize)
(1) The nominator of a prospective awardee shall award a certificate of honorary translator and list as Honorary translator of the Korean translation team
to a person determined as a prospective awardee of an honorary translator under the provisions of Article 4.
(2) A user box of honorary translator may be awarded to a person on whom an honorary translator is conferred under the provisions of paragraph (1).
(3) Matters concerning a certificate of award of honorary translator and a user box of honorary translator shall be prescribed by rule.
Article 6 (Follow-Up Management)
(1) A person awarded an honorary translator may be given an opportunity to participate in Team project,
such as appointing him/her as a member of a committee related to Team or inviting him/her to participate in an event or Steam group hosted by the Team.
(2) The Team shall keep the certificate of honorary translator as prescribed by rule.
Article 7 (Cancellation of Award)
(1) Where a person awarded an honorary translator commits an act deemed contrary to the spirit of its award, the Team may cancel his/her honorary translator following the deliberation of the Committee.
(2) A person whose honorary translator is cancelled under the provisions of paragraph (1) shall be deprived of opportunities to participate in the Team project
under the provisions of Article 6 from the time his/her honorary translator is cancelled.
Article 8 (Honorary Translator Award Committee)
(1) There is hereby established an Honorary Translator Award Committee (hereinafter referred to as the "Committee" again) in the Korean Translation Team to examine or deliberate on the following:
1. Examination on suitability of award to a person recommended as a prospective awardee of an honorary translator; 2. Deliberation on whether to cancel an honorary translator that has been awarded.
(2) The Committee shall be comprised of two to ten members, including one chairperson.
(3) A longest active translator shall serve as the chairperson.
(4) The Team shall appoint or commission members from among the following persons:
1. Korean translators who recipents Wiki Cap 2. Korean translators of Steam Translation Server or Administrators of the OTF Wiki KR Steam Group; 3. Translators of the Korean Translation Team who contributes on Wiki more than a half year
Article 9 (Enforcement Rule)
Matters necessary for the enforcement of this Regulation shall be prescribed by rule.
ADDENDUM
This Regulation shall enter into force on the date of its promulgation.
