This page is an informal list of all cosmetic items in Team Fortress 2 that can be proven to exist canonically.
What defines a "canon" cosmetic?
Generally speaking, this is a list of cosmetics that appear in external Team Fortress 2 media (Movies, Comics, etc) outside of the game itself. I don't trust the game itself as a canonical source here, given how many cosmetics that have been added are anachronistic (ex. Boston Boom-Bringer), included as crossover promotions for other games (ex. Bill's Hat), and/or are unrealistic (ex. Defragmenting Hard Hat 17%). That's not to say that any of these cosmetics are bad, but I still thought it would be a neat thought experiment to see just how many can be proven to exist in the world of TF2 outside of the game itself.
The list
NOTE: This list is a work-in-progress. Not only is it likely that there's at least a handful of items I've missed, but I also haven't finished moving the items I have found to this page. If there's an item you want to suggest adding, please feel free to mention it, as well as where specifically it appears, on this article's talk page.
