The Shellmet is a community-created cosmetic item for the Soldier. It is an American M1 helmet with green camouflage similar to those distributed and worn during the Vietnam war. There is a black band wrapped around the helmet holding three shotgun shells and gun oil on each side. When worn, the Soldier also holds a lit cigarette in his mouth.
The Shellmet was contributed to the Steam Workshop.

Trivia
- Helmets often seen in Vietnam had a green camo pattern, and many soldiers would strap items on top for easy access, such as the ammo and gun oil bottle shown on this cosmetic.
- Given the notorious gun jamming issues of the Vietnam War, gun oil bottles were common helmet band items.
- Smoking was common during wartime as a way to relieve stress from battle.
- All three shotgun shells have "MANN CO BALISTICS 12 GAUGE SHELL"(sic) written in them.
