I think there should be credits to http://www.unseen64.net/2008/04/05/Team Fortress 2-proto/, it seems that this article is totally ripped from there

I think a "Synopsis" section should be added, like on Wikipedia's (Wikipedia) page. It'd have the sub-sections "Setting" and "Plot," from where we could link to the "Timeline" and other such articles. Shonkybiz 17:27, 6 July 2010 (UTC)

:There isn't really a Plot, or setting. I mean it's just a random part of America. -- Smashman... (t • <span class="plainlinks">s)</span> 17:31, 6 July 2010 (UTC)

F2P Information
As far as we know TF2 is free to play for this week only. Please avoid adding information about the permanency of the free-to-play model until we get solid information, preferably from the horse's mouth. One article on one site does not proof make. -- - mod (talk | contribs) -- 17:32, 23 June 2011 (PDT)

:Except that site is Develop Magazine, a very credible source that is read by both game developers and fans alike.  Valve even let them run around in their offices a few months ago to do a feature on them. - 17:36, 23 June 2011 (PDT)

:: This article is now protected for a week due to edit warring. Further tampering with the article will result in temporary blocking. -- En Ex  (talk) 17:38, 23 June 2011 (PDT)

:::Doesn't this Wiki go against speculation? We should hold back until Valve themselves state something. Regardless of credibility, the only ones we can truly believe is Valve. Wingless 17:39, 23 June 2011 (PDT)

::::This type of announcement would be humongous news. Valve would announce it themselves. We can wait to verify from them, if it is free to play forever...whats the rush? Adding this prematurely is reckless as it can damage our reputation. We don't want to become like some other wikis. K-Mac <small>([] | Contrib)</small> 17:40, 23 June 2011 (PDT)

::::We'll probably know within the hour. I'm sure we can wait. Balladofwindfishes 17:41, 23 June 2011 (PDT)

::::: Except the interview was with Robin Walker, co-creator of Team Fortress 2. That is 1) straight from Valve, and 2) proof of this happening. Simple as that. -- En Ex  (talk) 17:42, 23 June 2011 (PDT)

::::::Even then, I refuse to believe it until Valve posts something on their blog. This kind of thing has to be announced, so, until then, I don't believe it. Wingless 17:44, 23 June 2011 (PDT)

::::::Because interviews can't be faked for publicity at all. [/sarcasm] --Color Printer 17:45, 23 June 2011 (PDT)

:::::::But isn't the nature of a wiki using information gathered from reliable sources such as newspapers, books, videos, interviews and encyclopedias to create reliable articles? Isn't ignoring a source of information a bigotry thing to do especially given Valve's track record with information such as the ever consistent - "Valve Time"? Also, I wouldn't add information from unreliable sources. It may be my first post here but that is down to current amount of information that has been placed brick by brick and overlay by overlay into an infinite position equalling into - encyclopedia and not wiki, as a wiki emplies "free addition of reliable information" whilst encyclopedia is a forever written document that is never changed. As you've noticed - I take peoples lack of faith in me seriously. LeMansRacer 17:49, 23 June 2011 (PDT)

::::::::Like I've stated before, sure, they may be reliable, but (pretty much) all the information we've gathered for this Wiki has been from in-game, or from Valve. If this is true, I expect Valve will announce it alongside the update, so there isn't exactly long to wait. It's a protected page now, anyway, and I don't see that changing until we hear something straight from the horse's mouth (so to speak). Wingless 17:51, 23 June 2011 (PDT)

:::::::::Confirmed in Meet the Medic. Satisfied? Rainbow Dash 18:42, 23 June 2011 (PDT)

::::::::::I was more satisfied with the confirmation in Develop. Although it didn't make "Meet the Medic" any less enjoyable for me. LeMansRacer 18:47, 23 June 2011 (PDT)

Invasion source code
From Invasion section:

>>along with direct references to the game in the source code

Please replace "direct references to the game in the source code" with "full source code". There was alot of TF2I code. SiPlus 12:31, 28 June 2011 (PDT)

Cleanup
Many sections of the page, I'm looking at you "Gameplay" and "Development", are mostly copied verbatim from Wikipedia. Rolandius 19:20, 9 October 2011 (PDT)

Agreed. I'll work at it a bit, but I can't promise a huge "OMG it looks AWESOME now!" kind of change. I will work at what I know, mainly Gameplay. Team Fortress Wiki is NOT Wikipedia! EDIT: Holy crap it's worse than I thought. There is some SERIOUS plagiarism here (yes I said the "p" word). Sgt Hailfire 14:28, 5 November 2011 (PDT)

I tried to make it prettier. I didn't add anything, though. Mostly, I just made sentences more clear. Smurfton 22:46, 6 November 2011 (PST)

I just wanted to say that Eurogamer.net did a re-review of TF2 after it went F2P and their score is now a 10, not a 9. Matthewp131 19:35, 11 December 2011 (PST)

pro This article is very well-written and formatted, good for it being an article on the subject of the wiki itself. == Mac OSX bug (well not really) ==

Should we add that when you press f3 on a mac and click another window it glitches your game? (you can't click anything, teamswitch, and your character is locked in a fixed position.)Barack Obama ([]) 18:20, 31 May 2014 (PDT)

Maybe add Mann vs. Machine(MVM) in gameplay
The Fiend ([]) 15:25, 3 May 2021 (UTC)I was thinking this, because gameplay is vastly different to normal TF2 but still similar to be seen side-by-side with the normal gameplay.(Or maybe make its own thing in the article)

Change system requirements to a table
The system requirements being in the infobox just looks fricken' ugly. I think it should be moved to a table for better readability. KamranMackey ([]) 22:26, 30 April 2015 (PDT)

: We kind of leave it in the infobox for simplicity. If we move it into a huge table, then it just becomes clutter at this point. Ashes ([]) 05:39, 1 June 2015 (PDT)

Server for PlayStation 3 version of Team Fortress 2 closed down by EA earlier this week. Multiple articles or posts can be found online about this sad news.
