Source Engine Changes (CS:S, DoD:S, TF2, HL2:DM)

  • Updated the localization files

Team Fortress 2

  • Fixed a Linux dedicated server crash caused by the Replay director
    • Crash would happen whether the server was capturing Replays or not
  • Fixed the Map Stamps Collection bundle missing in the store
  • Fixed dedicated server ENTITY_CHANGE_NONE console spam
  • Improved the impact sounds for the Cow Mangler 5000’s projectiles
  • Optimized many particle effects related to the Cow Mangler 5000 and the Righteous Bison
  • Reduced the ConVar fov_desired to have a lower bound like the Replay editor
  • Updated the Cow Mangler 5000 to display the drawbacks in its attribute list
  • Updated the gamehaptics file
  • Updated the localization files

Undocumented changes

  • Wording on some attributes were changed.[1]
  • Fixed a typo on the Hottie's Hoodie description.

Team Fortress 2

  • Cow Mangler 5000 changes
    • Fixed the charged shot sometimes doing more damage than intended.[2]
    • Fixed a bug that caused the projectiles to stay in the world after a team change.
    • Slowed reload rate by 5%.

  1. "Damage done" is now "Damage penalty", or "Damage bonus".
    "This bat knocks out a mean stun ball" is now "Alt-Fire: Launches a ball that stuns opponents".
    "This weapon is a silent killer" is now "Silent Killer: No attack noise from backstabs".
    "This weapon is Honorbound and once drawn cannot be sheathed until it kills." is now "Honorbound: Once drawn cannot be sheathed until it kills".
    "This weapon has no barrel spin sound" is now "Silent Killer: No barrel spin sound".
    "This weapon can fire a charged shot that mini-crits players and disables buildings for 4 sec." is now "Alt-Fire: A charged shot that mini-crits players and disables buildings for 4 sec".
    "This weapon fires a projectile that penetrates enemy targets." is now "Projectile penetrates enemy targets".
    "This weapon deals reduced damage to buildings." is now "Deals only 20% damage to buildings".
    "This weapon's projectiles cannot be deflected." is now "Projectile cannot be deflected"
  2. The charged shot no longer has increased base damage.
