Tank Crash

Grunkle Chubs (talk) 18:58, 21 October 2018 (UTC)So, how does the Panzer Pants cause a game crash? I know for a fact it does. I was in a community server and after performing the taunt and a bunch of people's games crashed. I've heard that it's a memory leak or too many entities that don't disappear. Can anyone confirm this?

Make sure you click the "add topic" button. I believe its a probably a texture file or memory problem, it could also be that it's considered a Entity and if there is too much the game can't handle it and crashes, pretty sure Valve didn't realize it until releasing this update. Panzer Pants missing animations.

Grismar (talk) 18:44, 23 October 2018 (UTC) I don't know if other people have this problem but The Panzer Pants, and only The Panzer Pants, has missing animations almost every time I have loaded up tf2, only working once out of the 40-50 times I have tried to make it work. Like I said I'm not sure if others have this issue, I just wanted to post that here so people would know incase it is a widespread problem.

I haven't seen this happen, and sometimes taunts don't play properly, which is explained on Taunts. Can you screenshot it? User MrJohnson Signature.png MrJohnson (talk) 19:43, 23 October 2018 (UTC)

Regarding the edits concerning the correct Sherman model

The reason why I believe the model is not an M4A3(105) is that most features of the tank do indicate the opposite; the appliqué armor specifically. The M4A3 with the 105mm cannon was a late war model, with an armor profile different to that of the early war models. The early war M4 specifically was commonly seen with add-on armor on the turret, the front of the hull, and the sides. Later models on all Sherman variants, including the M4A3, had improved armor, making the appliqué armor completely unnecessary. So it only means that the one featured in the taunt is not an M4A3 (105). It is an early production M4. Even by looking at the engine deck of the tank, one can easily discard the possibility of it being an A3 model. The rear of an M4A3 is sloped, while that of the M4 has a sort of gap. This is due to the engine being different.
