The Festive Winter Crate is a tool item released in the December 10th update, which seems to drop the same way normal crates do. It is shown as a Mann Co. Supply Crate decorated with snow and a wreath made of holly.
This crate cannot be opened with the normal Mann Co. Supply Crate Key. It is set to expire on December 31, 2010.

The expiry date on this item suggests that it will be tied to an exclusive event only for 2010.
