Parkour Fortress
Parkour Fortress is a server modification created by SLAG Gaming for Team Fortress 2, which is heavily influenced by Template:W, in which the player can Template:W around user-created maps. While in Parkour Fortress, speed, timing, and precision are used to the player's advantage (or in some cases, disadvantage) to pull off stunts and tricks while keeping momentum, and either reach the end of the course or to bring all of the flags to one location, thus winning the round.
Gameplay
Gameplay involves using a number of jumping techniques such as wallrunning and double jumping to get to the end of the map in a certain time. There are a number of new abilities exclusive to this game mode, including the ability to run on the side of walls, crouch-sliding, and climbing scaffolds. The player gains momentum by performing smoothly, which keeps the running speed at a high level, and when enough momentum is gained, it is then possible to longjump, jumping much further than usual. In some maps, weapons such as the Machina and Pistol spawn, which allow the players to use ranged weaponry to catch their enemies off-guard. The ever-present hazard of falling to the player's death is very common, especially among newer players, and should always be taken with caution.
