도구 아이템이 팀포트리스2에 등장하였습니다!. 만코 업데이트패치 때에 소개가 되었습니다. 도구는 직접적으로 게임에 영향을 미치치 않고 간접적으로 효과를 볼수이씁니다. 도구는 만코 상점에서 구입할수 있습니다. 그리고 아이템 드랍 시스템으로 랜덤하게 얻을수있습니다. 랜덤 드랍을 통해 얻거나 상점에서 구입해서, 도구를 백팩에서 사용할수 있습니다. 거래 를 통하여 플레이어간의 거래로 얻을수있습니다, 하지만 조합 을 통해 얻을수 없습니다.
