Tools are usable game items in Team Fortress 2. Introduced with the Mann-Conomy Update, tools have various cosmetic purposes although they cannot directly affect gameplay themselves. Tools can be obtained via purchase from the Mann Co. Store and found through the item drop system. Once found or bought, tools can be used from the backpack. Most tools can be traded to other players, however, none can be obtained by use of the crafting system.

Refreshing Summer Cooler Key	A key used to open a Mann Co. Supply Crate or Refreshing Summer Cooler.	Purchase   Drop   Uncrate
Mann Co. Supply Crate	A crate that contains a random item determined by its series number.	Purchase   Drop   Uncrate
Festive Winter Crate	Series #6 of the Mann Co. Supply Crate. A special limited crate that could only be opened via a Festive Winter Crate Key or a Stocking Stuffer Key.	Purchase   Drop   Uncrate
Refreshing Summer Cooler	Series #22 of the Mann Co. Supply Crate. A special limited crate that could only be opened via a Refreshing Summer Cooler Key.	Purchase   Drop   Uncrate
Backpack Expander	Adds 100 extra slots to your backpack to a maximum of 1000 slots.	Purchase   Drop   Uncrate

Gift Wrap	This gift wrap can be used to package an item as a gift for another player. Wrapped gifts can be delivered to offline players. Some items that are normally not tradable can be wrapped and gifted using gift wrap.	Purchase   Drop   Uncrate
RIFT Well Spun Hat Claim Code	Allows a player to redeem a "Well Spun Hat" in RIFT.	Formerly given to players who earn the "Riftwalker" achievement. Currently cannot be earned in any way.
