Mann Co. Supply Crate Keys are single-use Tool items which are available from theMann Co. Store. They are only obtainable from the store so far and there are no plans to make them available via the Item drop system and cannot be traded. They are the only method to unlock crates, another type of item which occasionally contains a singular rare item.
This item is a Tool. It can be applied to another item in your backpack, and is consumed in the process. Click the 'Use with...' button in the backpack to start the process of applying it.
