This item will be awarded in Genuine quality to players who pre-purchased Company of Heroes 2 on Steam before 2013, if the "Pre-Purchase" counter reaches "Reward 1".
Notes
This hat is modeled on the Russian M40 officers field cap. During the Great Patriotic War, Russian officers had a variety of headgear to choose from, but the M40 was the most common used by Soviet tank commanders during 1941 (in which Company of Heroes 2 takes place). Many Soviets died in just this year alone in an nearly vain attempt to stop the Nazi invaders.
