This hat appears to be a skinned copy of the "Medic's Officer Hat" file that was located in the game files until recently.

Hat somewhat related to M. Bison (Dictator)?

I can see the resemblance to M. Bison, YES YES. [[User:Jozh goober] October 9, 2010

I can't help but feel that the hat is somewhat related to a famous Street Fighter character. (nanosheep_inc) 06:40, 4 October 2010 (UTC)

I think that if you take off the tf2 emblem, M.bison would never realize. User:freakoholic7042 18:56,12 october 2010 (UTC)

That hat is just like Bison's. I would put that on the trivia section. Mike Red 18:45, 4 October 2010 (UTC)

It's a police cap. The M Bison similarity is a coincidence.  – Smashman (talk) 21:56, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
YES! YES! -- Vi3trice (talk) 22:01, 4 October 2010 (UTC)

/wiki hat/

It looks like a Dutch train-attendant's hat; with the railroad pin switched with a TF2 logo. FoOz 07:05, 5 October 2010 (UTC)

Personally, I'd say it resembles a common military officer's hat. --RedShocktrooper 18:49, 6 October 2010 (UTC)

It may be unintentional, but galdarn it I want it because it looks like Bison's hat. If I get it I'm namin' it Shadaloo Chapeau or some other ridiculous thing. --CommodoreJim 04:51, 9 October 2010 (UTC)

It appears to me to be a Peaked cap. They are used throughout many military forces. They orginated from Russia in the early 1700's. Jeff Andonuts 08:55, 10 October 2010 (UTC)

^ This. It reminds me of World War One German Enlisted caps, but with a visor: http://northerngoodies.com/store/item/ns_0276.html Goose511th 19:45, 10 October 2010 (UTC)

I think it looks like the SS hats of the 2nd World War, specially if you paint it black. I didn't like what's written on the "Distribution" section on this hats' page, it doesn't explain anything and it does not inform people if some players have already received the hat or not. Description suggestions

Grammar

It's locked from editing, but it should say "somewhere on your user page", not just "somewhere your user page". Throwing that out there for whomever can edit. Thanks. Scurve 07:26, 16 October 2010 (UTC)

How did no-one notice? Seriously we were all blind Raptorbones 08:44, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, I realized that too, terrible grammar bothers me. --DarkShard 20:08, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
I'm glad we're all having conscience about the article's grammatical accuracy. -- En Ex (talk) 15:13, 19 October 2010 (UTC)

How are you supposed to get this

I mean like, Are they gonna give us a link thru email or something??--The preceding unsigned comment was added by Chaplin (talk) • contribs)

You don't. That's the magic. --Vaught 03:45, 19 October 2010 (UTC)
Nobody has one yet. Please stop asking until they actually exist. — Wind 03:51, 19 October 2010 (UTC)

Name suggestions

Well we had a description suggestion bit and I'm thinking that the current name, when compared to the other hat names, is a bit bland. Rules:

  1. Has to refer to the Wiki in some fashion.
  2. Alliteration is not a requirement, but it would be interesting as many hats include it at the moment. Up to you.

Wiki Warrior. Had to be said, don't kill me. -The Neotank ( | Talk) User The Neotank Signeotank.gif 22:35, 20 October 2010 (UTC)

  • Well some time ago I suggested those 3 new Wiki Cap names: The Captributor, The Cap Lock or The (Wiki) Service Cap... Now, I have other ideas. If you like alliterations, I can suggest: The Wiki Workers Way, The Changer Cap or The editor's excellence (or elegance). Tturbo 22:39, 20 October 2010 (UTC)
Tturbo, I like "Editor's Elegance". Has that Gentlemannely ring to it. -The Neotank ( | Talk) User The Neotank Signeotank.gif 22:48, 20 October 2010 (UTC)

Revisionist's Revelation. Editor's Ensemble. Compelling Contributor. Cap of Maintenance. Patroller's Cap. Reckless Revisionist. Pilk's Peak. I'll add more as I think of 'em. -- En Ex (talk) 22:41, 20 October 2010 (UTC)
