Action items are a new type of item, filling the slot previously named Misc2. Action items were introduced in the Mann-Conomy Update. Unlike other backpack items, they have a limited use, indicated by a number on their backpack icon. As of now the only action items are the Dueling Mini-Game, Secret Saxton, Pile o' Gifts and the various Noise Makers. Action Items can all be bought in the Mann Co. Store, although the dueling mini-game may also be found randomly during gameplay and can also be found in Series #2 or #4 Mann Co. Supply Crates. As a result of this, The Dueling Mini-Game is tradeable unless purchased. The various Noice Makers are tradeable and are only available from the Mann Co. store for a limited time only. Store brought Action items including the Pile o' Gifts, the Secret Saxton and purchased Dueling Mini-games are currently untradeable. Currently all Action items are uncraftable.
The action key is (default H). Pressing this key will allow you to use whatever Action Item is currently equipped in your action slot.
