The Noise Maker is a tool introduced during the Scream Fortress update. When equipped in an action slot and used, a noise was played to all the other players in the server. They can only be purchased from the Mann Co. Store during the Scream Fortress event. There are seven types of Noise Makers and each comes with 25 uses after which they are removed. There is also a single Noise Maker that wasn't used.

Trivia

• Each Noise Maker (except for the Stabby Noise Maker) has 3 unique sounds that will randomly play when used.
• The Stabby Noise Maker sound is a reference to the famous "Shower Scene" from the 1960 psychological thriller Template:W.
• If you change your currently equipped Noise Maker outside of a spawn area you can use the action key to make the noise of the currently equipped one without taking up uses of either one you had/have equipped.
• If you select a Noise Maker in the backpack, it will play one of it's sounds.
• With the Noise Maker equipped, a bug exists that causes one of the 119th medals to appear equipped too -- even if another Misc. is already equipped. It appears as a Grizzled Veteran on the RED team or a Soldier of Fortune on the BLU team.
