Strange Unusuals are hats or weapons that both track points and have an Unusual Effect.
Unboxing Strange Unusuals
Strange Unusuals hats can be unboxed from the Gun Mettle Cosmetics Case, Quarantined Collection Case, Confidential Collection Case, Gargoyle Case, Tough Break Cosmetic Case, and the Mayflower Cosmetic Case. Strange Unusual weapons can be unboxed from the Concealed Killer Weapons Case, Powerhouse Weapons Case,Pyroland Weapons Case, and the Warbird Weapons Case. These hats and weapons are very rare due to the low chances of unboxing a hat or weapon with both qualities from the same crate.
It is important to note that not all cosmetics from the Gun Mettle Cosmetics Case, Quarantined Collection Case, Confidential Collection Case, Gargoyle Case, Tough Break Cosmetic Case, and the Mayflower Cosmetic Case can be Unusual.

Crafting Strange Unusuals
There is also another way of obtaining Strange Unusuals, crafting. This is an older method where you already have to have the Unusual you wish to be Strange and the hat's corresponding Strangifier. If you use the Strangifier on the Unusual hat the hat will both have the Unusual Effect it had before and will now track points earned while wearing the hat.
