Player ghost refers to any ghostly form that a player may control after being killed on some maps.
Players may maneuver these forms with the normal movement keys (W for forward, A for left, S for backwards, and D for right), mouse controls, and may be flown by pressing the Jump key (default key: Space). Players may also use their attack key or any of the voice commands to give out harmless "BOO!"s that do not stun or harm other players, unlike the NPC ghosts. Dispenser ghosts are much smaller than regular player ghosts and have the ability to heal their remaining teammates at a very slow rate and only appear on Graveyard.
The following maps contain player-controlled ghosts:
- Helltower, players killed in Hell.
- Carnival of Carnage, killed Bumper Car drivers.
- Gravestone, killed Bumper Car drivers.
- Graveyard, Dispenser ghosts.
Notes
- If a player has any of the Voices From Below Spells applied to any of their cosmetic items, their ghostly moans also become deeper sounding.
- If a player is killed by critical explosive damage, their ghost respawns elsewhere on the map.
