Class Badge
So uh, which one do we stick with? The Bomb one is on the Meet the Demoman page, but the Demo that's on the page doesn't even have a class emblem on him to begin with :/
I got a RED and BLU version of the one that's on the in-game Demoman. -- Vi3trice (talk) 14:55, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
- Nice Vi3trice, they'd should be included in the trivia section like the beta Soldier's.--Kid Of The Century 13:53, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
- Yep, nice one Vi3. Stick them on the page, in the bio and move the ones currently there into the trvia. -- Smashman... (t • s) 13:55, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
Sticky Launcher is the Primary weapon
Look at his loadout section.. The Unbeholden 09:15, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
- Well the sticky launcher is secondary, but for crafting purposes its primary. same with the revolver, its primary, but for crafting purposes its secondary M-NINJA 23:04, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
Demoman has a new emblem
Where would the emblem be stored (like the other ones on here)?
- Spotted this change as well. Curious why Valve did this. In any case, I don't seem to understand your question. Could you rephrase it? --Vaught 00:00, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
- Where would the emblem be placed on the article. The answer to that would probably be the Bio. MasterOfTheXP 02:59, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
The watermark (in the upper left) will also have to be replaced. I have no clue how to go about doing that, though, nor do I know who made and/or posted the previous ones on the other class pages. Boomsta 03:23, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
- Could the creator of the stickybomb emblem watermark pass me the picture of the stickybomb? It would be really useful for me and I don't feel like ripping it off the background. Uzikus 17:45, 22 November 2010 (UTC)
Is it yet another new emblem in the companion cube pin promo photo with the demo and pyro? It looks like a stick of dynamite with a fuse, haven't seen it in game. http://www.teamfortress.com/companioncubepin/ BASEBALLFURIES 15:42, 16 April 2011 (UTC)
Related Merchandise
Should this section really exist in this article? The merchandise is related to the Demoman, but it smacks of advertising and isn't encyclopedic. ButteredToast 16:16, 26 November 2010 (UTC)
Where did you find the card textures?
Hello. I am trying to find the textures for the cards in PNATI, and I was wondering where you found the images for the cards shown in this, the Scout, and the Heavy articles. Hi. 21:41, 29 November 2010 (UTC)
- The Valve Store. - Yack 03:25, 1 February 2011 (UTC)
That Demo's a Bloodeh Spy!
"Unlike all the other classes who scowl when attacking, the Demoman smiles evilly when attacking."
It's true, not too obvious, and not really known about much. Maybe add it to the Trivia? Lancer anti-tank Rocket 18:37, 10 February 2011 (UTC)
No taunts as a con ?
I thought that the list only mentions the drawbacks of the weapones from in-game , for example : I don't see that "No taunt" as a , and the in-game Loudout for any weapones doesn't show up a red text like saying that there is no taunts , from my point of view i think its pointless , its not even an actual bug to mention . --– Gin_Ginster (talk) 18:28, 10 March 2011 (UTC)
- The taunt attack is somewhat useful as a insta-kill for snipers and distracted heavies, otherwise it would be 2-6 hits, possibly allowing them to get away.Eligitine 18:59, 10 March 2011 (UTC)
- I agree, I don't see the lack of a taunt kill as a con. Rather, it's a pro on weapons that do have it. —Moussekateer·talk 19:02, 10 March 2011 (UTC)
i really think its better to remove it / change it into or , because it might confuse people like me D: --– Gin_Ginster (talk) 19:12, 10 March 2011 (UTC)
Sticky Launcher is the Primary weapon... again?
- Has this now changed as of the 15th March 2011 update? I don't know if it happened to anyone else but my loadout slot for the Grenade Launcher and the Sticker Launcher have changed, along with the rest of the weapons in those slots. This happened to anyone else? I editted it to accomodate for this change but it has been reversed so I'm discussing this here. JakeSanchard 00:50, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
- Huh? Sticky launcher been the "primary" weapon loadout wise as long the loadout system have existed as far I can recall. I noticed no change with the latest patch. Ailure 23:56, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
- I meant in the loadout menu. The two slots have been switched but they still have the same "slots", if you know what I mean :S I'm not even sure I do tbh JakeSanchard 01:14, 17 March 2011 (UTC)
- I could sworn it's been that way since forever (though if I had a older version of TF2, I would had checked out to be sure ._.), and the only reason sticky launcher is not binded to 1 instead of 2 on the keyboard is probably a holdover from TFC. Which admittedly adds to the confusion, personally I don't even think of them in terms of primary and secondary while playing demoman as both have their strong uses. Ailure 09:18, 17 March 2011 (UTC)

Demoman is now offensive?
According to this page from the new TF2 layout, the Demoman is considered to be an 'Offensive' class. I'll change the page to reflect this, but if this is a mistake on Valve's part, please disregard the edit and revert. Wingless 00:54, 21 June 2011 (UTC)
It was a mistake. He's now Defense again. Valve probably just screwed up. --Skunk :3 01:37, 21 June 2011 (UTC)
The booties
The table lists the booties as secondary (i.e. shield slot) but for them to take effect the need to be equiped witha shield simulataniously, so shouldn't they go in the primary ('nade launcher slot)? Guybrush20X6 00:08, 22 June 2011 (UTC)
- It's confusing, but Demoman's GLer is actually secondary Balladofwindfishes 00:10, 22 June 2011 (UTC)
- No, the Grenade Launcher is the Primary Slot weapon. The Booties are directly affected by the shield, and are secondary, like the Gunboats. SilverHammer 00:12, 22 June 2011 (UTC)
- In-game, the Demoman's GL is considered the secondary; whereas stickies or shield is the primary. In the real world, it's the other way around. Either way, the Booties will take up the Grenade Launcher slot, as it completes the set. If you look closely at the sword's details, it states that all ammo becomes health, signifying that this new setted Demoman will not have to worry about ammo since he won't have stickies or a grenade launcher. Primary/Secondary switch up
I think that it is a major bug that the Demoman's Primary and Seconday slots are different on loadout menu, and when in actual gameplay. Does anyone else feel that this should be listed as a bug, as it has caused some confusion. DJNerd 15:04, 4 July 2011 (PDT)
Double Images
It appears that one of the concept arts has been added to the page twice. I do not see anything in the guidelines about this, but feel that one should be removed. I want to get a general concentus about this before actually removing anything though. DJNerd 06:21, 6 July 2011 (PDT)
Reducing the infobox
Is there a way that we can combine "Eyelander, HHHH and Nessie's Nine Iron" into one entity for the info box? I know that the information is necessary but they are all the same weapon and then having things like "Ali Baba's Wee Booties and the Eyelander, HHHH or Nessie's Nine Iron fully charged" takes up quite a bit of space. 20:28, 19 July 2011 (PDT)
- Agree Yes, it's getting ridiculus. Let's use something like this: Eyelander --Kid Of The Century 06:22, 20 July 2011 (PDT)
- Agree Absolutely. We might as well use Eyelander on any page that uses all three, with certain exceptions (like the taunt kill article). Balladofwindfishes 06:30, 20 July 2011 (PDT)
- Agree I've been adding the new golf club to lots of pages referenceing this. I think the best thing to do is use the generic term head collecting weapons. » Cooper Kid (Blether · Contreebs) 07:29, 20 July 2011 (PDT)
How much of this was copy+pasted from TF2wiki? Or was it the other way around?
Yes, copy-pasted. Compare the two pages and read their content. "Though his weapons lack long-range pinpoint accuracy, the Demoman is a powerful, if unpredictable, asset..." "Excels at swift disassembly..." Et cetera. I'm not sure who copied who, but it makes slightly more sense that this wiki would first, since TF2 wiki has been up longer. Not trying to point fingers or start a fight, but this needs to get taken care of... Either way, a reword is in order... Thefinalwars 18:27, 25 July 2011 (PDT)
