Wiki Cap
The dream hat for thousands of users on the Official Team Fortress Wiki. Ours is probably the only Wiki that rewards its users with such a coveted prize. As you may have guessed, statistics show that 99% of users edit Wiki pages for the sole purpose of obtaining a Wiki Cap. Such a desirable, exclusive and fashionable prize does not come easy, however...
Day 1
“ | One year ago the Official Team Fortress Wiki was opened for everybody!
What started as a small, yet ambitious, community-run project has since evolved into a huge, Valve-sponsored effort to be the biggest and best source of information on the Team Fortress series in existence. Since June 30, 2010, the steadfast editors, translators, and staff of the Wiki have bonded together to form a strong group of individuals dedicated to continuously updating and improving the information available on the Wiki. Really, can anyone remember a day without edits? Without chatter about the latest TF2 developments, translations of popular pages, discussions about new ideas, and the like? Nope. Each and every day, the community at the Official Team Fortress Wiki works to make itself bigger, better, and more robust for the benefit of the entire Team Fortress community.— Preface blurb

Trivia
