The Schadenfreude is an action item for all classes. Upon activation, the player will take joy in the suffering of their enemies for several seconds.

This item can be purchased at the Mann Co. Store, can be found in random drops, and may also be found by uncrating a Series #19 Mann Co. Supply Crate.

Bugs

  • Using the item as a Heavy with any melee weapon other than the Fists active will cause his fingers to clip through the weapons.
  • Near the end of the Soldier's taunt, the bottom of his head clips inside his body.
    • The Soldier's mouth is sometimes transparent during the taunt.
  • Using the item with the Rogue's Col Roule equipped will cause the turtleneck to clip through the suit.
  • Using the item with any medal equipped on the Demoman will cause the medal to clip through his chest.
  • Using the item while not at full health with a food item such as the Sandvich equipped will consume the item, as though the Heavy was eating it.
  • Using the item with the Amputator equipped will activate its healing effects.
  • Using the item with the Gunslinger or Short Circuit equipped will cause it to clip through the Engineer's waist.
  • Using the item with the Surgeon's Stethoscope equipped will cause it to clip through the Medic's chest.
  • Using the item with the Lord Cockswain's Novelty Mutton Chops and Pipe equipped will cause it to clip through the Soldier's face.

  • Template:W is a German term meaning joy derived from the misfortune of others.
