海报宣传赛（Propaganda Contest）是一项由Valve所举办的以战争！更新为主题的社区获活动。该比赛鼓励玩家为他们所支持的一方（蓝队士兵或红队爆破手）制作宣传海报。这些海报随后被提交给 Valve 以通过海报宣传赛网站进行评审。[1][2]
奖品
一等奖获奖者将会被授予一顶独一无二的帽子，该帽子是根据用户在提交参赛作品时所写的名字命名的。其 3 个奖品分别是J.Axer 的漂亮礼帽、Amber 的地狱帽和山姆大叔的帽子。
大赛宣布将有 25 名入围参赛者就会获得神秘的曼恩公司“奖品”。之后有 40 多位入围参赛者脱颖而出，并获得了朴素的桩柱帽作为他们的奖品。
最终“奖品”会根据 Valve 总裁 Gabe Newell 喜欢的海报来给其海报所支持的一方进行加分，这样可以调整士兵方和爆破手方之间的“战争”规模，该物品后来将被公布为炮艇。根据比赛结果，士兵方赢得了“战争”，尽管爆破手方拥有更多的杀敌数。
