From my point of view, we should use striked text for removed patch notes to indicate that the patch note was later removed after initial publication by Valve. Italics are also an option.
I don't think it's right for us to just use a reference like indication, as the average user will just "blink their eyes" and see that the official patch notes and those on the Wiki are different without something so quickly differentiable.
Last but not least, we must maintain consistency between the two days' patch notes: July 12, 2023 Patch#cite ref-5 and July 13, 2023 Patch#cite ref-1.
