Should be the page for the game mode

The item set is less relevant than an official game mode.
We should make the "Special Delivery" page the game mode page, and add a hatnote for the item set.

Pictogram minus.png  Disagree, I think considering it's been this way for 12 years and no one has really raised an issue, I think it should stay as-is. I do think a redirect may be suitable, as a disambig with 2 entries should generally be turned into a redirect with "redirects here" on one page.

Pictogram minus.png  I personally agree with Grampa's idea, I had done it beforehand but it was reverted because I did not participate in the discussion before enacting these changes (sorry!). I feel as though his solution would be for the best, since it would follow the general structuring of the wiki. — payn. No reason to transfer the game mode to this page. Control Point redirects to Control Point (game mode) with a redirect note to Control point (objective). That should be how this is handled. Mediarch User Mediarch PFP.pngTalkMy Edits 15:04, 24 May 2024 (UTC)
Determining relevance can be subjective, so we usually decide these things by item names first, then release date.
That said, if the Mann Co. Store bundle properly redirects people to the item set page (which seems to be the case), then it shouldn't be an issue to make this page redirect to the gamemode one by default. — Tark 15:28, 24 May 2024 (UTC)
I agree with Mediarch. Interesting idea to make the "Special Delivery" page redirect to "Special Delivery (game mode)" by default, considering the disambiguation only lists two pages (the game mode and the item set).
