The length of the tube containing the team-coloured 'Uber' liquid matches the ubercharge state of the Medic. This is noticeable on the player's view. Shouldn't this be in the trivia section rather than the main body of text?--Focusknock 15:46, 10 July 2010 (UTC)
The pictures of the 2 ubersaws on the right look all squished for me (1900x1080) so we should probably get new pictures that don't get horribly proportioned. Massive Mountain of Hat 02:18, 11 June 2011 (UTC)

This quote should help those still undecided to make their decision. -- Benjamuffin 05:22, 29 August 2010 (UTC)
“ | Looking at the in-game localization text, I can see we’re already inconsistent ourselves, so I don’t think it’s a big issue. I’d pick whichever one you want to go with, and call it that. If you get nitpickers complaining about it, add a note to the pages saying that the game itself is inconsistent.

Ubersaw vs Übersaw
In-game, and in the Medic Update, this weapon is referred to as the Ubersaw. Note the lack of dots above the U. Should this page be moved to Ubersaw?

- Support: The bot had Ubersaw at first, then someone wanted it switched to Übersaw, and now back again? I'm for it, but it doesn't make much sense to constantly move things around — Wind 15:48, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
- Comment: I've always wondered why Übercharge would have the dots while Ubersaw would not. I'm fine with either one. --Firestorm 15:59, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
- Support: We should match what is displayed in-game. -- Nineaxis 16:45, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
- Neutral: The correct spelling of Über, as in Over in German has the umlaut. If we're going to move this, then ÜberCharge should move too. I'm just under the impression it's incorrect in-game. -- Smashman... (t • s) 16:56, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
- ÜberCharge shouldn't be moved. That's how it is in-game. -- Pilk (talk) 16:59, 17 August 2010 (UTC)t
- We're not making a dictionary, we're making a TF2 wiki over the content of the game, and it doesn't have the umlaut in-game, so that's what we should go by unless Valve changes it. -- Nineaxis 17:20, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
- Comment:Just make the weapon names whatever they are in-game. -- En Ex (talk) 17:15, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
- Support: This has NEVER been referred to as an Übersaw anywhere but on here. When you do the slow weapon switches in-game, it's called the Ubersaw --Firestorm 17:19, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
- Support move to Ubersaw, but keep ÜberCharge where it is. seb26 [talk] 21:30, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
- Support: Bandwagon time. -The Neotank ( | Talk) 22:25, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose: I bet this was just Valve being lazy.--Nelson340 21:34, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose: Umblaut U is pronounced Oo. Oobersaw is much more consistant with the terminalogy of Oobercharges. Besides, Youbersaw just sounds silly. Noizeblaze 17:31, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
- Support: Heck, there are places where both the Ubersaw and the ÜberCharge are present in the same sentence with the said spelling. Also, what the hell Noizeblaze? I don't know if it's just because I'm French, but I pronounce any words beginning with U as if they had the umlaut to begin with. -- Vi3trice (talk) 22:55, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
- Comment: People who don't speak german as a motherlanguage seem to have a problem hearing the difference between u and ü (though it is VERY differnt for natives). Not that this has any bearing on the naming of the article. I say keep it the way it is ingame. --CruelCow 23:35, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
- Comment: I might just ask Robin if he could add the umlaut because it clearly should have one as it's Über as in Over and they use ÜberCharge. -- Smashman... (t • s) 23:49, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
- Comment: "(Australian Accent)... This is a great idea! Why haven't we thought of that before?" Déja vu, but hey, isn't that the point of an hat-obsessed Australian? -- Vi3trice (talk) 18:49, 22 August 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose: Übersaw is correct because it comes from Über which means above in german. Let's not canonize Valve lazyness. -- Nightbox (t s) 14:05, 28 August 2010 (UTC)
- Comment: Noiseblaze isn't correct, "ü" in German means it DOESN'T have the "oo" sound, whereas just "u" does. If you're saying "Oobercharge", it should be "Ubercharge", while "Übercharge" is, well, "übercharge". It is difficult to tell the difference for non-native speakers, though. --Tinker 12:13, 31 August 2010 (UTC)
- Comment Uh, did you guys forget how hard it is to link this? I have to go to the actual page and copypasta the "U". Thunder 20:26, 3 September 2010 (UTC)
- Use {{subst:u}} to put the U with the umlat --Firestorm 02:18, 7 September 2010 (UTC)
- Support I'm supporting the move simply because it would be easier to correctly link to. As for in-game/out-game accuracy of the title: See the quote from Robin. -RJ 11:22, 26 September 2010 (UTC)
Info It has been decided that the move will not go ahead for logistical reasons (too much work for such a minor change). -RJ 13:55, 27 September 2010 (UTC)
Spinal Tap now gives 100% uber charge on kill
25% from first stab 75% from killing blow (possibly 25% from killing hit and 50% on the kill)
I'll edit the Spinal Tap and Ubersaw pages now. (I can provide proof to people who need it. I've recorded a demo) -KajiVena of TheVille 22:33, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
The taunt-kill boost came before today's patch. I shall be removing that patch note from the page until we can determine when exactly the Ubersaw updated. -KajiVena of TheVille 02:09, 16 April 2011 (UTC)
- If you're unsure when the spinal tap was patched, just make an estimate.--Focusknock 13:41, 16 April 2011 (UTC)
Is it stupid Trivia?
Would it be stupid to put that uber means super in english.--Waffleman 00:21, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for helping me not look stupid.--Waffleman 13:43, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
Ubersaw image
On the original page there are two weird images on which ubersaw has obvious problems with width, although I press on them and see normal image with better quality. Is this my browser problems or everyone can see that? Restline 02:21, 11 June 2011 (UTC)
- I can see that the images are, well, fucked up too. They're too squashed. Davo 09:54, 11 June 2011 (UTC)
- Nah, like the image pages says, this wiki has a general problem with the sever side image caching. Nothing we can do about it but wait :( --CruelCow (talk) 11:48, 11 June 2011 (UTC)
New Medic Update?
When I suggested redoing the Ubersaw demonstration video just yesterday, Wind said that we should wait until the Medic update comes out. Anybody know of this Medic update? -SpaceAnimator 08:53, 12 June 2011 (UTC)
- There's been a lot of new Medic items being shown by Valve, and it's assumed there's a big update coming very soon. Balladofwindfishes 14:13, 12 June 2011 (UTC)
Weapons Demonstration
I assume the reason for the ubersaw being under the "needs to be redone" section of the Weapons Demonstration Project is that the current video does not show the 20% slower firing speed (compared to the bonesaw). As soon as someone uploads a weapons demonstration that includes this as well, or if the original video is re-edited to include this, the Ubersaw should be done.

3D images
Like I just mentioned for the Flamethrower, this weapon's 3D images have been broken since the article was moved back to Ubersaw. Dragonsbrethren 09:46, 29 June 2012 (PDT)
- Thanks for pointing it out. It has now been fixed. —Moussekateer·talk 16:52, 30 June 2012 (PDT)
Tough Break Update
Did you guys know that as well as tough break making the Amputator taunt on alternate fire, they did the same for the Ubersaw? I just put the description in the weapon mechanic description section and in updates. Please fell free to add extra links, default buttons etc. to my edit. Hayzze (talk) 00:21, 16 January 2016 (PST)
