Merge with {{Weapon infobox}}?

With the new 'tools' and 'actions', the lines between Weapon and Hat are getting blurred. With both templates doing functionally similar things, why don't we merge the two? – Smashman (talk) 12:05, 1 October 2010 (UTC)

Support I support for now, but I haven't thought about it much. Busy doing website-work for family.I fully support now, they all share so many attributes already, it's silly to have them separate - especially when we're adding new attributes (craftable, tradable). -RJ 20:50, 1 October 2010 (UTC)
- It's an unneeded complication. The work needed to perfect a merged infobox supporting weapons, hats, and tools or whatnot does not equal the perceived benefits of having them together. seb26 [talk] 21:09, 1 October 2010 (UTC)

Oppose I'm sorry, but I don't see how the line between Hats and Weapons is being blurred, nor how this would happen with two new, distinct item types being introduced. --Alex2539 08:07, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
Weakish Support One universal box with set parameters for class, release period, availability, craft, trade, paint, name, and all the other bits would be nice. Best to keep it clear which parameters are for weapon or hat or both, though.--Focusknock 12:35, 5 October 2010 (UTC)

Template not working on non-english pages
