Engineer Update

Add it! -- Smashman... (ts) 22:42, 5 July 2010 (UTC)

That was easy.... Damn you and your abuse of those lower than you! I refuse to scrub the templates any more! --Firestorm 22:47, 5 July 2010 (UTC)

Wrong translation (sv)

Can anyone change the swedish translation of "Obtaining Engineer achievments" to "Att få Teknikerframsteg", now it says "Att få Spanarframsteg" translated inte "Obtaining Scout achievments"?Isakcool 08:02, 16 May 2011 (UTC)

The words are meant to say "How to" but someone has translated it as "Obtaining Scout achievements". It's meant to be not specific for any class, e.g. in {{Engineer Nav}} it should say: "Engineer achievements (How to)". The same for Medic but instead: "Medic achievements (How to)". It can be edited here anyway (Ctrl + F for "how to" to find the section). seb26 08:08, 16 May 2011 (UTC)

So I just edited the Engineer template, but...

As soon as I edited the template to include the C.A.P.P.E.R weapon, the nav doesn't actually seem to update on the C.A.P.P.E.R's page. Why is this the case, and should I re-save the page so that it appears? Texenox (talk) 00:33, 9 October 2015 (PDT)

It's on there now. If you're worried about templates not being up-to date, you can do a null-edit where you edit and save the page, making no changes. The page to null-edit would be C.A.P.P.E.R, not the template. Darkid (Talk | Contribs) 11:06, 9 October 2015 (PDT)
I've null-edited before. I was just checking to make sure that in doing so I wasn't violating any sort of guidelines. Is there any sort of automated system at all that does it, as well? Texenox (talk) 11:10, 9 October 2015 (PDT)
Wikipedia has a job queue, and that means every once in a while a page gets all its templates updated to latest. By null-editing you simply complete that job. It's never going to violate a guideline, since it doesn't create any additional work. Darkid (Talk | Contribs) 11:18, 9 October 2015 (PDT)
